When @ariyonb visited Lagos last year to see our work in action, he discovered that change starts with water – especially for women like Toyin.

Clean water brings confidence, opportunities and the chance to earn a decent living. It helps whole communities thrive 💧

Thrilled to announce our next film as ARCTIC SKIES – launching at EFM this February.

Starring Morfydd Clark @morfydd_clark and Ariyon Bakare @ariyonb, Arctic Skies is the second feature from directors brothers Elliot and Zander Weaver after their debut indie breakout, Cosmos.

Inspired by one of the most well-documented UFO encounters on record, the film follows the harrowing journey of a 2-pilot crew of a cargo plane who become the target of extraterrestrial attention, 40,000 above the Arctic Circle. A taut, real-time sci-fi thriller, Arctic Skies explores survival and fear at the blurred edges of our world.

Producers are Jamie Gamache and Connor O’Hara of @lowkeyfilms, alongside Elliot and Zander Weaver, @ellandzand who co-produce through Elliander Pictures with Colin M. McKeown @yerman_cmk. Independent Films are attached as Executive Producers @independent_entertainment_ and are launching sales with filming to take place at Steven Knight’s Digbeth Loc. Studios in Birmingham, UK @digbethlocstudios

🚨 Nepal’s devastating floods have left around 65,000 people in urgent need of water, sanitation and hygiene support. Without safe water and sanitation, the risk of waterborne diseases such as cholera could rise rapidly.

We have launched an emergency appeal to provide vital support to the communities hit hardest, including:

💧 Emergency clean water and water purification tablets
🧼 Hygiene kits with essentials including soap and sanitary products
🚽 Temporary toilets
🔧 Urgent repairs to damaged water and hygiene services

Just £30 could provide a hygiene kit to keep a family clean, safe and protected from disease for three months.

WaterAid will also work alongside communities to rehabilitate damaged water systems and help people build resilience against future climate-related disasters.

Please donate today and help bring clean water, sanitation and dignity to families affected by the floods. ❤️

🎥 A conversation worth watching.

Katie Dockery, founder of @ViewpointCentre, and actor Ariyon Bakare (Sam) sit down to talk about the power of equine therapy, what Viewpoint does, and why this film hit home for them both.

Watch the full video to hear about the true healing power of horses at Viewpoint Centre that inspired the film

The history behind this photo. From where we were to where we are. The days laughing hard, two inner city kids @wacarts sitting at reception, between our mat mattox dance class, or our jazz singing lessons or audition technique, Dreaming, beyond what was on offer.

The days you helped me with my classical audition for drama school.

Me watching you shine in your first self penned play Ave Africa or dancing at billstickers whilst you threw down on stage, you sang hard !!

You inspired me to write, inspired me to act. Inspired me to dare to dream big.

When The laughter was lacking you had it in plentiful, the heart the spirit, the food, the music, the dance. Yeah this is history but it’s future too. Bless @miss.lotusb !!!!

Congratulations to all the incredible recipients , including @idriselba @AfuaKyei, #PamelaMaynard , #DamePatMcGrath, Bernardine Evaristo, and @vanessawilliamsofficial. I was truly floored and appreciative deeply inspired by the resilience, brilliance, and strength in numbers that filled the room. So much greatness, so many powerful connections, and countless inspiring speeches.

The most moving moment for me was watching @kanyakingcbe accept her award. Your words, courage, and personal story touched my heart. I shed tears listening to you. I woke up still thinking about your speech, and you remain in my prayers. May God bless you for all you’ve done and continue to do. A true leader!
