Been a minute so here’s another excerpt I’m sharing from what’s been in the works lately …. Something solid as all hell…! Here is a part of “survival in September” written & best produced by @arkaiik_ … working on an independent multi-track release — biggest dilemma I face sometimes is cherry picking all the best tracks …. If you want me to seriously drop somethin’ b4 summer throw some 🔥🔥🔥zz …?! I’m a sukka for procrastination on the upload … but definitely not the pen or the stacks … shits been building pressure … #hiphop #beatpoet #underground #rhymesayers #music by @arkaiik_

This video makes me smile so much. I wrote this song at 16 in a very rough situation of my past~ and so many times have I shared these lyrics open mic to mic to campfire to alleyway cypher — but never graced by my own instrumental until now and to see the likes of the badass @eskaeone & @kanganade rocking out to this even though they’ve heard these lyrics like 6+ times at random mic moments - means the world to me. Reminds me of my 16 year old self , alone in the NorCal woods during a substance filled and very cold wet winter with nothing but my comp 2 keep me going - I tell her now- all the places you will go!!! The meaning of this song “VACANT” has grown to me and takes me back and forth and through all the healing and self work and world education from the past decade . It’s real hard to believe I wrote this that long ago sometime- but based on the growth I can believe it strong. Much love yall. This moment will always be so special to me. Thank you @aesoprockwins @blockheadnyc for the inspiration on this instrumental production- your tracks have taught me so much by ear and I appreciate y’all dearly . by @arkaiik_
