Life has a way of reminding us what truly matters.

Why is it that we always find the time, the money, and the resources to travel for the funeral of someone we love... but somehow struggle to make that same trip while they're still here?

Don't wait for a goodbye to bring your family together.

Make the trip. Take the vacation. Share the meal. Laugh until your stomach hurts. Create the memories you'll hold onto forever.

Tell the people you love that you love them, today, not someday.

And if you're as blessed as I am to still have your parents here on this earth, cherish every moment. Respect them. Love them. Sit with them. Listen to their stories.

One day, all we'll wish for is one more conversation, one more hug, one more ordinary day together.

Don't wait for a funeral to remind you to live.

Go love your family while you still can.
