Current status of Dot - still not talking much but fully spelling words. Found "Colombia" last week after she was singing Encanto. "Aex Rockwell" had us confused, then after some googling discovered Alex Rockwell is the creator of Word Party, her fave Netflix show. She was just short an L so I guess we need more letters. Another finish, I'm on a roll! I saw this one with a Calamity Jane quote at @pineneedlesutah a couple years ago and had to grab it; finally bought the threads and stitched it up in about a week!

Many of you are aware that Painted Tree Boutiques abruptly closed last week, giving vendors only days to retrieve their items. I was lucky to get in and get all my things the first day and got a storage unit to store it all. A lot of vendors are scrambling to take down multiple locations - stores that are being abruptly locked by landlords because Painted Tree wasn't paying their rent. Small businesses are closing in droves because of what PT did.

I am not closing down - I am lucky that the only money I've lost was my deposit and my April sales. Some folks have losses in the tens of thousands. I am going to refocus my attention on Marlene's online store for now, and try to get it shipshape. Give me a week to get the inventory updated and Marlene's online presence will be back up and running! by @armada.designs

My beautiful girl is SIX!! Where has the time gone? My ray of sunshine, my jar of moonshine, my rainbow loving girl has been ours for six years and we adore her more every day. She is full of laughter and attitude and sparkle. She loves Super Simple Songs, Disney, and Word Party. She once in a while says "I love you" unprompted and melts my heart, and now regularly says "Mommy tickles please!" We love our Dottie Longlegs! by @armada.designs

QUILTY HELP!! I made all these blocks .... They are supposed to be 12.5" unfinished and they are NOT. Like not even close??? They aren't even 12" 😭😭 What can I do? I haven't sewn the sashing together yet; do I just trim them to 11.5 and shorten the sashing pieces?? This is my wedding quilt I started before getting married (lol) and was hoping to finally finish it! by @armada.designs
