My SD hybrid done. This is different than a normal SD in that it has a short 3.5” non ported barrel, a larger/oversized SD handguard/cage to accept a 1.750 OD suppressor, and a normal suppressor with a 1.375-24 end thread direct thread with the barrel. Turned out great, can’t believe it took this many years for me to build myself an SD. #hecklorandkoch #mp5sd #frt #mp5 by @armamentweaponry

Something I’ve been working on and it’s basically done. Ive been wanting a DIY method for people to add the 3rd position, full auto pictograms to their HK SP5 and SP5K grip frames for the Rare Breed RD3 FRT use. A much simpler and cheaper alternative to sending the grip frames out and getting laser engraving/color filled. After several prototypes and graphic types, I think I’ve found the one I like. The graphics are clean and crisp, to scale and have great adhesion/durability for a “DIY press on adhesive graphic”. Only downside is side is that the graphic is slightly raised, and some of the RD3 levers may need some material removed from the back side to clear the pictograms. Can’t really engineer a way around this, the thinner graphics all had adhesion and bad durability issues being too thin. However, this is still a great option and the factory HK levers actually have a clearance to make sure there’s no binding against the grip frames. This will be sold as a “DIY kit”, with right/left side pictograms, alcohol cleaning wipe, wood squeegee, and an adhesion/activator wipe. It’s a very simple process anyone can do. If you can put a sticker on something, you can do this. I may even add a right/left side push pin graphic as well to give you that “pinned” look too. Finally got my “hybrid” MP5SD built. Runs great with with an @rim_country_mfg 120* locking piece, @rarebreedfirearms RD3 trigger, @rexsilentium MG10 muffler, @angrycustoms oversized SD cage to fit the huge MG10 suppressor and @broadrivertactical SD handguard. Going to weld a rail on the receiver and then black @molyresin coat it all. No chrono results yet, but no sonic crack with these cheap 115g 9mm rounds. Keep in mind, the volume of the bolt closing, and the actual muzzle report. Very happy with the results of my one off SD build. by @armamentweaponry
