Who is Armin Physio? 👇 Swipe to find out.

In 1995 I immigrated to Canada with nothing but hope for a better future. We settled in Coquitlam, BC — and that one decision set everything in motion.

I went to Simon Fraser University, fell in love with Kinesiology, worked with the NCAA SFU Football Team, and even got to hold the Grey Cup. Then I hurt my shoulder. That injury led me to physiotherapy — and I never looked back.

After graduating with my BSc in Kinesiology, I co-founded Easy Therapy in 2011 — a mobile rehab company bringing care directly to people’s homes. In 2013, I got into the Masters of Physiotherapy program at UBC, graduated in 2015, and kept building Easy Therapy at the same time.

By 2020, Easy Therapy had grown into Easy Allied Health — a multi-location, multidisciplinary network of physiotherapists, kinesiologists, and occupational therapists. That year, Well Health acquired a majority stake for over 7 figures.

From 2015 to 2020, I worked 7 days a week. The only reason I made it through was the unwavering support of my partner, Mehrnaz — the love of my life, who I met at SFU.

Now, I’m channelling everything I’ve learned into Armin Physio — a platform dedicated to real, evidence-based education on the conditions people deal with every day. No fluff. No gimmicks. Just what actually works.

I also operate:
🏥 Easy Allied Health — multidisciplinary clinics across the Lower Mainland
🏃 MoveWell Mobile Therapy — personalized in-home physiotherapy
🔬 MoveWell Med — longevity programs and health protocols
💧 Zip Drip — mobile IV therapy for recovery & wellness
📋 Blueprint Clinics — consulting for health professionals looking to grow their practice

If you’re a patient, a health professional, or just someone who wants to move better and live longer — this page is for you.

I truly appreciate every single follow and share. Let’s build something great together. 🙏

Can You Diagnose Your Hip Pain by Where It Hurts? 🤔

Pain in different parts of your hip can point toward different conditions:

1. Hip is locking or catching → Hip Labral Tear
2. Pain on the outside of the hip → Greater Trochanteric Bursitis
3. Deep buttock pain that may travel down the leg → Piriformis Syndrome
4. Front of the hip pain with sitting, squatting, or twisting → Hip Impingement (FAI)
5. Hip dropping or a limp when walking → Trendelenburg Gait (Glute Medius Weakness)
6. Pain over the outside of the hip that worsens with activity → Hip Abductor Tendinopathy
7. Pain near the dimples of your lower back or buttock → Sacroiliac (SI) Joint Pain
8. Pain when sitting directly on the “sit bone” → Ischial Tuberosity Bursitis
9. Deep groin pain with stiffness, especially in the morning → Hip Osteoarthritis

⚠️ Keep in mind: Pain location alone isn’t enough to make a diagnosis. Many hip conditions overlap, and pain can be referred from the lower back, pelvis, or even the knee. A thorough assessment by a healthcare professional is the best way to identify the true cause and guide the right treatment.

💪 The good news? Most hip conditions improve with the right rehabilitation program, focused on restoring mobility, improving strength, correcting movement patterns, and gradually returning you to the activities you enjoy.

Share this with someone experiencing hip pain and leave your questions in the comment section 👇👇🙏🙏

Tell me the location of your knee pain and I’ll tell you the most likely diagnosis.
If your knee is giving way and you are experiencing pain inside the knee you’ve injured your ACL or PCL.

Pain on the outside of the thigh and the knee slightly below the joint line? IT band syndrome.

Pain inside the knee and your knee is locking or catching? Meniscus injury.

Pain in front of the knee just below the knee cap and it hurts when your knee crosses the toes? Patellar tendon tendinitis.

Pain on the inside of the knee below the joint line? Pes Anserine bursitis.

Pain around the knee cap? Patellofemoral syndrome.

Pain along the inside joint line? Osteoarthritis

Notice a Curve or Unevenness in Your Spine? It Could Be Scoliosis.

Scoliosis is a sideways curvature of the spine with rotation of the vertebrae. It can range from mild to more significant and may affect posture, movement, and in some cases cause discomfort.

Common signs can include:
✅ One shoulder sitting higher than the other
✅ Uneven hips or waist
✅ One shoulder blade appearing more prominent
✅ A visible curve or rotation of the spine
✅ Back stiffness, fatigue, or discomfort in some people

💪 Exercise can play an important role in managing scoliosis. Rehabilitation may focus on improving core and back strength, posture, mobility, balance, and overall movement while addressing each person’s individual spinal curve.

Try the exercises demonstrated in this video:
✅ Move slowly and with control
✅ Focus on proper technique and posture
✅ Build strength progressively
✅ Stay consistent with your program

Pain in Your Butt That Shoots Down Your Leg? It Could Be Piriformis Syndrome.

Piriformis syndrome occurs when the piriformis muscle, located deep in your buttock, becomes tight, irritated, or overloaded and places pressure on the nearby sciatic nerve. This can lead to pain, tingling, or numbness that travels from the buttock down the back of the thigh.

Common signs and symptoms include:
✅ Deep pain in the buttock
✅ Pain or tingling that may radiate down the back of the leg
✅ Pain with prolonged sitting, driving, or climbing stairs
✅ Discomfort during running or after repetitive lower-body activities
✅ Tenderness when pressing deep into the buttock

The good news? Most cases respond well to the right rehabilitation program. The goal is to reduce irritation, improve hip mobility, strengthen the glutes and surrounding hip muscles, and gradually return to your normal activities.

💪 Try the exercises in this video:
✅ Perform 3 sets of 10–15 repetitions
✅ Move slowly and with control
✅ Hold each repetition for 3–5 seconds
✅ Challenge yourself while maintaining proper form

Keep in mind that not every case of pain down the leg is caused by the piriformis. Conditions such as lumbar nerve irritation or other hip disorders can produce similar symptoms, so getting the right diagnosis is important if your symptoms persist or worsen.

Stay consistent with your rehab, focus on quality movement, and be patient—most people improve with a progressive strengthening and mobility program.

Save this post for later and tag someone dealing with stubborn buttock pain! 🔥

Low Back Pain That Shoots Down Your Leg? It Could Be a Herniated Disc.

A herniated disc occurs when the inner portion of a spinal disc pushes through or irritates the outer portion of the disc. If this affects a nearby nerve root, it can cause symptoms that travel from your lower back into your buttock, leg, and sometimes all the way into your foot.

Common signs and symptoms can include:
✅ Low back pain
✅ Pain that travels into the buttock or down the leg
✅ Numbness or tingling into the leg or foot
✅ Weakness in certain muscles of the leg
✅ Increased pain with prolonged sitting or bending
✅ Symptoms that may worsen with coughing or sneezing

The good news? A herniated disc does NOT automatically mean you need surgery. Many people improve with conservative treatment, appropriate activity, and a progressive rehabilitation program.

💪 Try the exercises demonstrated in this video:
✅ Perform 3 sets of 10–15 repetitions
✅ Move slowly and with control
✅ Hold each repetition for 3–5 seconds where appropriate
✅ Work within a comfortable range and monitor how your symptoms respond
✅ Gradually challenge yourself as your symptoms and strength improve

One important thing to pay attention to is where your symptoms are going.

If pain that was travelling down your leg begins moving back toward your buttock or lower back, this is known as centralization and can be a positive sign.

If an exercise causes your symptoms to travel farther down the leg, known as peripheralization, that exercise may need to be modified or stopped.

Your rehabilitation should eventually focus on restoring comfortable spinal movement, improving core and hip strength, and gradually rebuilding your tolerance for bending, lifting, sitting, running, and the activities that matter to you.

⚠️ Seek urgent medical attention for new bowel or bladder changes, numbness around the groin/saddle region, or rapidly progressing leg weakness.

Share this with someone who is dealing with a herniated disc and save for future reference!
