4️⃣ FAKES EVERY PLAYER SHOULD MASTER 😈🥍

If you want to become harder to read, manipulate defenders, and create more opportunities, you need MORE than one fake in your toolbox.

Here are FOUR we work on at PRIME LACROSSE 👇

1️⃣ PUNCH UP ⬆️
Two hands punch up while the head of the stick stays back.
🔥 Great for crease fakes + finishes

2️⃣ PUNCH OUT FORWARD 👊
Punch the hands forward while bringing the head forward.
🔥 Great for pass + shot fakes

3️⃣ INVERTED PUNCH OUT ACROSS BODY 🔄
Bring the head forward, but instead of moving outward, work INWARD across your body.
🔥 Great for pass + shot fakes

4️⃣ BOTTOM-HAND CRANK / HITCH ⚙️
Use the bottom hand to REV the stick while the head stays back.
🔥 Great for shot fakes + creating shooting space

NOW TRY THIS CHALLENGE 😤

@cece_lax28 hit all FOUR for:

⏱️ 1 min each
🔁 3 rounds
👉 RIGHT + LEFT hand
⚡️ FULL SPEED

That’s a lot harder than it looks. 😂

DON’T JUST LEARN ONE MOVEMENT. BUILD A TOOLBOX.

Your cradles and fakes can help you protect your stick, manipulate defenders, set up passes, create shots, and flow into your next movement.

CAN YOU KEEP UP WITH THIS COMBO? 😈🥍

Here’s one of the dodging combinations I’m teaching my Prime Club team right now!

And we’re testing it out with the new @warriorlax Anthem Pro with @armorlax mesh 🔥
.
This isn’t about doing fancy footwork just to look cool.

Every movement has a PURPOSE. 🧠
.
Here’s the sequence 👇

1️⃣ Lateral shuffle to size up the defender
2️⃣ Jump Split at our dodging point
3️⃣ Quick switch to protect the stick
4️⃣ Crossover Step to attack downhill
5️⃣ Push + Rock Back when the defender reacts
6️⃣ Circle Out and get to the BUCKET 🪣🔥
.
The goal is to teach our players how to CHAIN MOVEMENTS TOGETHER.
.
Because your first move isn't always going to work.

Your second move might get stopped too.

So what happens next? 👀
.
That's why we build a bigger dodging toolbox. 🧰

We want our players to be able to read the defender, protect their stick, change direction, change pace, and have another answer when the defense takes something away.
.
Footwork ➡️ Read ➡️ React ➡️ Counter ➡️ BUCKET. 😤
.
Don't just memorize the combination either.

Learn WHY each movement works so eventually you can create your own combinations based on what the defense gives you.
.
Now the question is...
