Wrapped up summer mahjong league and came in 3rd place out of 24 people. Not too shabby! It was fun playing with my nephews, JT was also in the league but Ransom came on the last night in his place to play for fun. 44 so far. Went to ATX a few weeks ago for a softball reunion and got a “McNeil Girls” photo with Coach Styron! Then Dani introduced us to pickleball and JT refused to be part of the group photo. This kid turned 13 over the weekend, an official teenager. Al now has two teens in the house! Oh boy! I can’t believe it was 13 years ago that I got to be in the room and help welcome this guy into the world. I’m pretty sure he looked at me blubbering and said his first words, which were “Stop yapping…” I think that’s the Gen Z “Don’t embarrass me.” 🤣 Happy birthday, JT! ❤️❤️ taken in Kemah Boardwalk by @armorton718

Life update: I’m changing jobs to be an academic advisor at Alvin Community College! I told the tutors last week and received this beautiful bouquet from our Psychology tutor, Michelle, today. 🥹❤️ I’ll miss working with these students, they were a great group of tutors! I’m looking forward to working as an advisor again, and being only 8 minutes from my house, AND working on the same campus as my sister @lyssalou6 !!! Let’s go Dolphins! 🐬🐬🐬 by @armorton718

I was gone for the weekend and Callan didn’t get to spend the night for the first time in months, he’s become a regular house guest with us on the weekends! When I saw him on Monday he said, “I made you a present at school!!” He designed and 3D printed this key chain for me. 🥹 love my little buddy so much! ❤️❤️ by @armorton718
