My 20s taught me more than I ever could have imagined.

I’ve seen money come and go. I’ve experienced loss and said goodbye to people who meant the world to me. Through every season, though, God has always shown up and reminded me what love, grace, and purpose truly look like.

One of the biggest lessons my 20s taught me is that not everyone will love the way you love, support the way you support, or show kindness the way you do. But that should never change who you are.

I choose to love people equally, wish the best for everyone, and move with a genuine heart. Even when that same love isn’t returned. My character isn’t built on how others treat me; it’s built on who God has called me to be.

Here’s to 30. Wiser, grateful, and still leading with love.

I wanted to be just like you when I was a kid. The way you provided. Protected. The love you showed me will never be forgotten. Even on my absolute worst days, you always were there to encourage me and push me. I’ll love you forever Welo. You have no idea how much of an impact you had on my life. Get your rest Superman!

God chose you. God chose you to teach me that there is still good people in this world. I could never repay you for the things you have done for Mariah, myself, and our children. You will be forever remembered as a kind and beautiful soul. Thank you for believing in me, you are truly one of the biggest reasons I am where I am today. I promise to continue loving and taking care of your babies. God chose you. So get your rest. We love you so very much.
