I’m incredibly honored to officially serve as the Louisiana 2026-2027 4-H State President.

When I was elected State Vice President just a few weeks ago, I fully expected to serve in that role this year. But God had different plans. Looking back, I can see how He was preparing me all along. From returning to 4-H as a freshman after being away since the fifth grade, to serving Louisiana as State Parliamentarian, being elected State Vice President, and a National 4-H Conference Delegate, and a YLT member every step has led to this moment.

Accepting this role wasn’t an easy decision at all. I spent time praying because I understood the weight of it. In the end, I said yes because my love for Louisiana 4-H and my commitment to serving its members outweighed everything else. I’m honored to continue the incredible legacy Joe Lewis IV has left while helping lead Louisiana 4-H into its next chapter. I cannot make promises but I can make a commitment to do my best to make the best better.

I don’t take this responsibility lightly, and I’m ready to serve with faith, humility, and a heart for others. by @armund.o.w

“What’s the lesson in this?” - Mrs. Jennifer

We blinked and it was gone, literally. How blessed are we to be able to experience an organization as life changing and fulfilling as 4-H, especially in Louisiana.

Thank you @louisiana4h for the opportunity for personal development and professional development in leadership. I’m excited to serve Louisiana as the newly elected Louisiana State Vice President and cannot wait to get to work with our board.

Going into senior year and preparing for these senior circles here’s what I have to say (I won’t cry) : Laissez les bons temps rouler

We’re on the way to the 112th Louisiana 4-H University (State Conference) and I’m beyond excited to represent Calcasieu Parish as a candidate for the State Vice President position while competing in the Career Preparation Contest! Please send all the prayers and encouragement my way throughout this week.

Safe travels to everyone who’s heading to Baton Rouge this week, can’t wait to see you there ❤️. by @armund.o.w

The teachers saw it but my community never saw it….

This video means more than a campaign. It’s a reflection of the work, leadership, growth, and memories made along the way. This video serves as a reminder to me to keep pushing and going beyond. Even though I didn’t win , I’m still proud of everything we’ve accomplished and the impact we’ve made together these last three years.

Every experience taught me something, every challenge pushed me, and every opportunity reminded me that God’s plan is always bigger than one title. Grateful for everyone who supported me and believed in me throughout this journey. Excited to see what next year has in store. #SENIOR2027💙
