Today I am starting to draw the Osaka castle in Japan with part of it's surrounded parc. β›©οΈπŸ‚ This castle was built in 1583 by Toyotomi Hideyoshi and has 5 floors. I am very excited to work on this artwork this week. πŸ•―β˜•οΈ βœ’οΈ Fountain pen: @ystudiostyle Classic Renaissance - KAZARI KANAGU Fountain Pen - (Dragon) πŸ–‹ Nib: 14K gold F (fine). πŸ“– Paper: Gmund Original VergΓ© sheet (a5 size) ✍️ This drawing is handdrawn by me and should not be copied, sold or reposted without my permission. 🀝 For inquiries, tips or collaborations, feel free to send me a direct message. #penandink #inkdrawing #fountainpen #fountainpendrawing #cozydrawing by @arnd.sketch
This is my first time filling my new @ystudiostyle Classic Renaissance Dragon fountain pen with Mystery Black ink from Montblanc. βœοΈβ˜•οΈ I already tried drawing and writing with the pen and this ink and it's amazing, they combine perfectly and flow smoothly in the nib. πŸ‚πŸ•― βœ’οΈ Fountain pen: @ystudiostyle Classic Renaissance - KAZARI KANAGU Fountain Pen - (Dragon) ✨️ Ink: @montblanc Mystery Black ink πŸ–‹ Nib: Ystudio (fine) 14K gold nib. 🀝 For inquiries, tips or collaborations, feel free to send me a direct message. #fountainpennetwork #fountainpengeeks #fountainpen #fountainpendrawing #fountainpens by @arnd.sketch
This is the finished result of the moody autumn drawing of a cozy still life scene, in which a classic lit candle, pumpkins, acorns, leafs and a nice cup of coffee are displayed on an old table. β˜•οΈπŸ‚πŸ•― My main goal with this artwork is to practice with the shading of light and working on the transitions from light to dark. Personally I prefer the darker scenes so many more will follow. πŸŽƒπŸ˜Š I used cross hatching and stippling techniques to draw this scene with my Ystudio fountain pen. βœ’οΈ βœ’οΈ Fountain pen: @ystudiostyle Classic Revolve fountain pen in gold brass color. πŸ–‹ Nib size: F (fine). πŸ“– Paper: Gmund Original VergΓ© sheet (a5 size) ✍️ This drawing is handdrawn by me and should not be copied, sold or reposted without my permission. 🀝 For inquiries, tips or collaborations, feel free to send me a direct message. #penandink #inkdrawing #fountainpen #fountainpendrawing #cozydrawing by @arnd.sketch
This is my second day of drawing a cozy autumn still life scene. πŸ•―πŸ‚ I finish working on the table, add two acorns and a vintage candle and draw the shadows in the cross hatching style. ✍️ In the next part I will draw the long pumpkin and the background. πŸŽƒ βœ’οΈ Fountain pen: @ystudiostyle Classic Revolve fountain pen in gold brass color. πŸ–‹ Nib size: F (fine). πŸ“– Paper: Gmund Original VergΓ© sheet (a5 size) ✍️ This drawing is handdrawn by me and should not be copied, sold or reposted without my permission. 🀝 For inquiries, tips or collaborations, feel free to send me a direct message. #penandink #inkdrawing #fountainpen #fountainpendrawing #cozydrawing by @arnd.sketch
This week I received my Classic Renaissance, Kazari Kanagu Dragon fountain pen from a collaboration with @ystudiostyle in Taiwan. ✨️✍️ I was blown away by how beautiful this pen is crafted with the help of artists who make art for temples, shrines, buddhist altars, mikoshi, etc,. πŸ‚πŸ•―It feels perfect in my hand for drawing and love how all the engraved ornaments shine in the light. This pen was designed in the year of the dragon and is made of high quality metals. βœ’οΈ It captures the majestic sight of dragons soaring through the celestial realm. As the dragon emerges, it bestows auspicious blessings and symbolizes the eternal cycle of nature. With this fusion of oriental culture, aesthetics, and time-honored craftsmanship, the pen transcends into a vessel of boundless possibilities. As emotions flow through its golden body and onto the page, the writer's narrative becomes immortalized for generations to come. You can read more information about this pen on their website. ✨️ βœ’οΈ Fountain pen: @ystudiostyle Classic Renaissance - KAZARI KANAGU Fountain Pen - (Dragon) πŸ–‹ Nib: Ystudio (fine) 14K gold nib. 🀝 For inquiries, tips or collaborations, feel free to send me a direct message. #fountainpennetwork #fountainpengeeks #fountainpen #fountainpendrawing #fountainpens by @arnd.sketch
Today I am starting a new cozy still life drawing related to the autumn season (my favorite ✨️). πŸ‚βœοΈ A cup of coffee, pumpkins, acorns and some leafs on an old table with a lit candle standing on it. πŸ•―β˜•οΈ I use different fountain pen drawing methods for the different objects and loved to draw the pumpkin with a lot of short stripes. πŸŽƒπŸ–‹ Increasing the contrast is also something I am practicing with and drawing better gradients from light to completely black shades. βœ’οΈ Fountain pen: @ystudiostyle Classic Revolve fountain pen in gold brass color. πŸ–‹ Nib size: F (fine). πŸ“– Paper: Gmund Original VergΓ© sheet (a5 size) ✍️ This drawing is handdrawn by me and should not be copied, sold or reposted without my permission. 🀝 For inquiries, tips or collaborations, feel free to send me a direct message. #penandink #inkdrawing #fountainpen #fountainpendrawing #cozydrawing by @arnd.sketch
The cozy fountain pen drawing of the main gate and round tower in Karlstadt, Germany is finished. πŸ•―πŸ‚βœοΈ A lovely romantic couple is walking on a rainy day under their umbrella towards the gate up to the ruins on the hill. I used different cross hatching and scumbling techniques for the textures and shading in this artwork and put it in a dark wood and gold frame. πŸ–Ό Karlstadt am Main is a historic town in Franconia, Bavaria. It has roughly 15.000 residents. The main gate and the tower are key parts in medieval time, built around 1522. The round tower stands at the lower end of the Maingasse, which purpose was to defend the entrance of the gate. On top of the hill in the distance you see old ruins. It used to be the Karlsburg castle and it is the region's most prominent historical landmark. Around the 9th century it was used as strategic royal centre, but was unfortunately destroyed in 1525 during the Deutscher bauernkrieg. βœ’οΈ Fountain pen: @ystudiostyle Classic Revolve fountain pen in gold brass color. πŸ–‹ Nib size: F (fine). πŸ“– Paper: Gmund Original VergΓ© sheet (a4 size) ✍️ This drawing is handdrawn by me and should not be copied, sold or reposted without my permission. 🀝 For inquiries, tips or collaborations, feel free to send me a direct message. #penandink #inkdrawing #fountainpen #fountainpendrawing #karlstadt by @arnd.sketch

Today I am starting to work on a new cozy scene. βœοΈπŸ–Ό This one is a street view in The German city 'Karlstadt am Main', a federal state in Beieren, Unterfranken. The beautiful round tower with the main gate are the eyecatcher in this drawing. I start with the top of the tower and will slowly work my way down from left to right. πŸ•―πŸ‚ βœ’οΈ Fountain pen: @ystudiostyle Classic Revolve fountain pen in gold brass color. πŸ–‹ Nib size: F (fine). 🎨 Ink: Sailor Kiwaguro Black Ink πŸ“– Paper: Old looking ridged A4 size sheet with pale beige color. ✍️ This drawing is handdrawn by me and should not be copied, sold or reposted without my permission. 🀝 For inquiries, tips or collaborations, feel free to send me a direct message. #pendrawing #inkdrawing #fountainpen #cozydrawing #unterfranken by @arnd.sketch
The old classic Dutch windmill drawing is finished. 🌻✍️ We have a lot of mills here in Holland. Modern and old versions. There is something emotional and melancholic about them that catch my attention every time I see them. πŸ‚πŸ•― The way they look and how they work are very intriguing to me and that is the vibe I want to show in this drawing. This artwork is a fictional landscape in rural area of the Netherlands. πŸšœπŸ–Ό In this drawing I improved the way I draw trees and the sky with a fountain pen. 🌳 When drawing a tree I first start with drawing the visual parts of the log and branches before drawing the leafs. When you look at a tree, almost all of them have open parts where you can look at the center of it. For the sky I am hatching/drawing longer horizontal lines as before, but in this artwork I also added some white space with a little fade and darker parts of the clouds by adding more lines to certain parts of it. πŸŒ… βœ’οΈ Fountain pen: @ystudiostyle Classic Revolve fountain pen in gold brass color. πŸ–‹ Nib size: F (fine). #pendrawing #inkdrawing #fountainpen #cozydrawing #windmill by @arnd.sketch
In today's drawing session I am finishing the bottom side of the old windmill drawing. πŸ‚πŸ•― I add a house in the distance, a tree and bushes, a gravel path going to the windmill and a half open ranch eith some white ducks walking on the grass field. πŸ¦†βœοΈ On the right side above the cabin I will add two more trees before starting to draw the sky. βœ’οΈπŸŒ³ βœ’οΈ Fountain pen: @ystudiostyle Classic Revolve fountain pen in gold brass color. πŸ–‹ Nib size: F (fine). 🎨 Ink: @sailor.europe Kiwaguro Black Ink πŸ“– Paper: Old looking ridged A4 size sheet with pale beige color. ✍️ This drawing is handdrawn by me and should not be copied, sold or reposted without my permission. 🀝 For inquiries, tips or collaborations, feel free to send me a direct message. #pendrawing #inkdrawing #fountainpen #cozydrawing #windmill by @arnd.sketch
