Adult thrillers and YA horror romance 📚

POSTS STORIES REELS TAGGED

EAT THE RICH BEFORE THEY EAT YOU

This has got to be the craziest idea I’ve had to date, and I couldn’t be more excited to publish it with @berkleypub (still screaming about this!)

This story wriggled into my head one day and I simply couldn’t let it go—it’s the age-old question of, “what if your rich in-laws planned to cann1balize you in Antarctica?”

On the surface, GOOD TASTE is very different from my typical YA books. Even though I’m dipping into the adult space, this book is similar at heart: dark humor, a voicey “unlikeable” female MC, and a strong romantic subplot. I’m really hoping it will find a home with new and old readers alike ♥️

@lisabonvissuto IMMEDIATELY saw the potential of this weird little book and already has so many amazing ideas on how to make it shine! I am so thrilled to be working with her (and screaming together about certain freezer scenes…). And a big thank you to my agent extraordinaire, @clairefriedman.agent, for championing this book from the start and dealing with thousands of food puns in the process!

I'll never forget when the offer came in. My hands were shaking for a full hour, and I had to reread the email multiple times to make sure I didn't...idk, hallucinate the entire thing? But no, it was real. After the 100th reread, I called my friends and family in total disbelief. We all went that night to the Olive Garden where I gorged myself on celebratory breadsticks (as one does when they receive life changing news)

On the surface, GOOD TASTE is very different from my typical YA books. Even though I’m dipping into the adult space, this book is similar at heart: dark humor, a voicey “unlikeable” female MC, and a strong romantic subplot. The idea popped into my head one morning ("eat the rich before they eat you") and it wouldn't let go. I never knew whether the book would see the light of day (let alone change my life) and I'm so excited to share it with everyone.

Would this work on you??? because it would 100% work on me 🫣📚 Give me a rainy day, a London Fog, and a full kindle and I'm all set!

📕 info:
FERVOR is a gothic scifi horror novella inspired by Nosferatu & Midsommar, in which a spaceship pilot is drawn into a shadowy cult on a backwater planet, where she becomes obsessed with the ravenous god they worship.

CURSED BY THE DAWN - the sequel to DREAM BY THE SHADOWS. The book series follows a girl who must partner with her kingdom’s villain; a prince of darkness who’s trapped in a dream, to avenge her family and survive a dangerous dream world.

HOUSE OF HEARTS is a dark YA romance about an elite east coast boarding school haunted by the vengeful Queen of Hearts. It follows a scholarship student who is trying to figure out what happened to her best friend and a rich boy who is cursed to rip the heart out of his one true love.

GILDED IN VENGEANCE - GILDED IN VENGEANCE is a YA romantasy about a girl who, with the help of a handsome liar, sneaks into a secret magical society to ruin the lives of the rich backstabbers who ruined hers. Taylor Swift’s “Vigilante Sh*t” meets the Gilded Age set among the glittering magical elite of late 1800s NYC.

SHE HAUNTS ME STILL is a dark academia novel about three theatre performers whose histories are tragically linked by a curse dating back to the New England vampire panic. “𝘼 𝙨𝙩𝙖𝙧 𝙘𝙧𝙤𝙨𝙨𝙚𝙙 𝙡𝙤𝙫𝙚. 𝘼𝙣 𝙖𝙣𝙘𝙞𝙚𝙣𝙩 𝙘𝙪𝙧𝙨𝙚. 𝘼𝙣𝙙 𝙖 𝙨𝙩𝙖𝙜𝙚 𝙨𝙚𝙩 𝙛𝙤𝙧 𝙩𝙧𝙖𝙜𝙚𝙙𝙮.”

THE GRAVEWOOD is a dystopian vampire romance about a girl who feeds her blood to a vampire in exchange for desperately needed medical supplies. It’s her ugly little secret. And for a time, she has it all under control. But secrets have a way of getting out.
