Law and order [8a+/V12]✅

A good start to the Rocklands trip, as I was able to climb this boulder on the first day 😁. Unfortunately, the weather since then has not been the best 🌧️🌧️ but it’s looking better and I’m psyched to climb more in better conditions !

Permanent midnight [8a+/b] ✅

So happy to be able to do this incredible boulder by @dave_graham_ 💎.

I started trying this boulder about a year ago when I was probably not strong enough to actually do it, but after 4 months of training with @compass_coaching_climbing , I was able to achieve one of my main goals this year.
Excited for the next big project !

Special thanks to @siarafabbri and @simotentori for the pictures 📸 spots and support 💪😁.

And also to @nino.bllwl , @guilhem.sgr and @ogid19 who saw me fall on the second to last hold a few weeks earlier 🤦‍♂️😅.

Scarred For Life ✅⚔️ [8A+/V12]

A boulder that slowly turned into my Kryptonite, from the second session on I thought this would be the send session. And while there was improvement every session I kept falling so close the end but just didn’t execute the key sequences well enough 🥲. But with a bit dryer conditions and seemingly better shape I was able to send on the second try of 5th session this year (having tried it a little here and there over last few years) 🥳.

This one is important to me as it shows clear progression in my climbing and mindset. Such a nice line, perfect moves and holds … 🤯

Psyched for what’s next, motivation is high 📈 !

Big thanks to @sam__weir @ninaarthaud for the psych and sessions. And @sebastienmaflin for the support, vibes and insanely cool pictures 📸 and videos 🎥.

Petite Arvine [8A/V11] 🍷

If I remember correctly, this was the first 8A I ever tried. It turn out to be quite the nemesemis for me and after a few sessions 2 years ago I decided to give it some time. Last December I finally went back to it and this time I was able to climb it in the company of @kili_kuerzinger 💪.

The last few months were not the best for me climbing wise, as I have (again…) been dealing with some injuries. But psyche is comming back and I am exited for the upcoming Fionnay season.

For now, back to training @planetclimbing_plo , thanks for the support 🙏.

Trojan war [8A/V11] 🥖

I have been struggling with an annoying finger injury lately 🥲, meaning a change of plans for the end of year trip was needed. The plan was to go to Ticino to try to climb a few projects, but as I can’t not crimp at all with the left hand we ended up in font. Very cold temps 🥶 and limited sunlight made for some challenging conditions but I would still call it a successful first time in the forest given the circumstances 😁. Definitely will have to go back soon !

Ponk [8A/V11]✅

I tried this boulder I think 3 years ago, didn’t get it done that time. But this time, after a very chilly 🥶 warmup (-3 ❄️) and a dab on the first attempt, I managed to top out and put my sights on some of the other lines close by 👀.

Le vent l’emporta [8A/V11]✅

A local boulder that I tried last year but didn’t manage to do. Came back for an afternoon session and got it done after quickly working the moves. Nasty holds but the movement is cool on this one 🔪.

Thanks for the support @planetclimbing_gva

Aquila [8B/V13]✅🦅

Last spring, I got really close to doing this boulder in 2 sessions, unfortunately temperatures rose quite fast and I decided to wait until cooler temperatures to go back.

I am quite unsure about the grade, as I used a different beta than the original that my friend @simotentori found when we were trying the boulder together, but seen he has much much more experience than me in these kind of grades I somewhat based myself off of his option 😅.

All I know is it felt easier than last spring and I recently did quite a few other boulders so it seems the training is paying off 💪 @bushidoclimbing ! Motivation is high :

- Le vent l’emportera [8A/V11] ✅
- Essai transformé [8A/V11] ✅
- Ovni [8A/V11] (7C+/V10) ✅
- End of underground paradise [8A/V11] (7C+/V10) ✅

El Toro [8A/+] ✅🐂

No hard moves, just a lot of them 😅😤. Glad to climb this power endurance test piece !
My leg cramped up during the second move so it was a bit of a struggle with the heel hooks, but with a few strategic mid try stretches it went down 🤣.

Cafelat e campari [8A/V11]✅☕️

Fun boulder I could do after a session on Bonjour Finesse 💎 with @sam__weir. Not the best conditions as it was raining on and off all day but I will come back 🔜 💪.
