Some doors open only once in a lifetime. What are the odds that this one opened for us.

To be asked to dress the opening of the National Costume Competition of Binibining Pilipinas 2026 is a gift we still cannot fully believe was placed in our hands. A forty piece collection of handwoven apparel and bags, made alongside the legendary Filipino accessory designer @arnelpapa . Every single fabric woven by hand. Every thread carrying a province, a community, a story.

Because that was always the goal.
Not just to make clothes, but to let our weaves speak. To bring out the joy living inside every thread, the color, the culture, the hands that shaped it. This is what Filipino craft looks like when it walks onto a national stage. Full of life. Full of joy.

None of it would exist without our team. With @joeesuaa leading beside me, we have the best people we could ever ask for, the ones who cut, sewed, beaded, and believed, long before the lights came on. What you saw on that stage was built by many hands in quiet rooms.

So our hearts are simply full. Thank you to Binibining Pilipinas, to Arnel, to our team, and to every artisan who wove a piece of themselves into this collection. We will carry this gratitude for a very long time.
