The ARNO GLASS cup and saucer is one of those pieces that sits somewhere between daily tableware and design object. It carries a strong mid-century design lineage, but still feels current in the way it is used and displayed. ARNO GLASS describes the collection as a revival of an iconic 1963 design by Joe Colombo, inspired by the Arno River in Florence. The brand’s approach was not just to reproduce the original, but to reinterpret it for contemporary use, with a focus on stackability, durability, and ease of use in everyday life. That balance is what makes this set special. The silhouette feels sculptural and distinctly Italian modernist, while the cup and saucer format remains practical and comfortable for daily coffee service. It works equally well as a design-forward espresso/coffee cup at home, in a studio setting, or on a café table where presentation matters. ARNO GLASS also emphasizes craftsmanship in production.
