At the centre of the Perpetual Moon 41.5 Platinum “Horse of the Dunes” is an 18-carat white gold horse, individually hand-engraved to reveal everything from its flowing mane to the tension of its muscles. Beneath it, hand-painted dunes enriched with Super-LumiNova emerge against a black aventurine glass sky, while mother-of-pearl moons illuminate the scene.

From daylight to darkness, the dial reveals another dimension of its artistry.

By regulating the energy delivered from the barrels, the mechanism maintains a stable flow of power to the tourbillon while simultaneously creating a true-beat seconds display, indicated by the tip of the hand-blued anchor.

The solid gold dial of our Constant Force Tourbillon 11 Platinum Edition is entirely hand-engraved in the “tremblé” style. Using a burin, the engraver creates a succession of irregular, controlled strokes inspired by the fern-covered moors of Cornwall, the birthplace of John Arnold.

Each detail transforms the dial into a landscape of texture and light, while hand-engraved inscriptions on the movement complete the tribute to John Arnold and Abraham-Louis Breguet.
