Are there days you want to pray… but somehow, you just can’t find the time?

It’s a beautiful new year, and we step into it with confidence and peace, knowing that God Himself goes before us and walks beside us.

The Lord assures us:

“My Presence will go with you. I’ll see the journey to the end.”
Exodus 33:14 MSG

And again, His promise is clear:

“I will personally go with you, and I will give you rest. Everything will be fine for you.”
Exodus 33:14 NLT

This year, we are secure in Him. We are not alone. His presence guarantees guidance, His nearness brings rest, and His faithfulness ensures that every step of the journey is covered.

As we move forward, we do so with courage, hope, and unshakable trust, because God has promised to personally go with us. And in Him, we are safe, strengthened, and victorious.

You have the master’s. You have the certification. So why are you still struggling to land a PM job in the UK?

After helping aspiring project managers prepare for UK job interviews, I’ve noticed 3 things employers consistently want to see:

1. Experience beats certifications.

Your PMP, PRINCE2, or master’s may get you noticed.

But employers want to know:

What have you actually managed?

They want to hear about the projects you worked on, the challenges you faced, the decisions you made, and the results you achieved.

2. They test how you think, not just what you know.

You can know every PM framework and methodology.

Then they give you a scenario and ask:

“What would you do?”

They want to see how you assess situations, make decisions, manage stakeholders, and respond when things don’t go as planned.

3. Confidence comes from evidence.

Employers need to know they can rely on you to take ownership and deliver.

And it’s much easier to demonstrate that confidence when you have real projects and experiences you can talk about.

This is why building a portfolio of real project experience is so important when you’re trying to break into the UK PM market.
