It’s already been three years since I shot this project for @brandzaak! Was still rocking the long hair back then - crazy how time flies. The project has since made its way onto @frame.set , and a while back I got a text from @sanderjanssen.director , who’d pulled that coffee bag POV still from frameset to use in a deck for another coffee project he was shooting! Sander had mentored me throughout the process of developing this project, so it was a very cool full-circle moment to hear that! by @aronbagel

Directed the new launch film for @mob.movement around an idea I’d been sitting on since we came up with the new Mixed Box, a story built around three athletes to reflect all three flavours. 🎬

Brought my guy @aronbagel (aka the 🐐) in as DP on this one, so that meant the visuals were never in question.

Huge shoutout to my Mob crew, especially @jasperbaijings & @kelseyelizaprice who held it down during concept development and shot flow on the day, @matty__vv who absolutely cooked with BTS stills, and the rest of the amazing crew that stepped in wherever needed to keep things moving.

Other than the 10.000 photos of the kid, I don’t often take stills anymore these days. But sometimes I’ll make an exception, like when @erwinvanoostenbrugge asked me to shoot some portraits to accompany the release of his latest album, Parkinson’s Law.
Lot of fun experimenting with bold colour contrast and in-camera effects, so I figured I’d share them here as well! by @aronbagel

2025 🏁

Another year in the books - from impromptu travel jobs to crazy hectic shoot days, this year was once again filled with wildly different experiences. Moving cities, building our home, travelling through Suriname. But nothing beats the journey of welcoming our son into our lives. It’s been the greatest joy, and I can’t wait to see how he and our lives will develop this next year.

It's complete! I recently got my hands on the 85mm, the last lens I needed to complete my set of Sony CineAlta primes.

Originally, I just wanted to have a 35mm workhorse lens I could throw in front of an Alexa when there really was no budget to rent anything decent. But over time, I've come to really enjoy the look that these lenses produce, which is why I started collecting other focal lengths as well.

I've compiled a bunch of projects with a variety of looks, all shot on these beauties.

I couldn’t find any BTS clips from this interview setting, so I figured I’d draw up this setup instead!   This has quickly become one of my favourite ways to do a single-stand book light setup, and it’s all because of the Chimera Panel Frames. This is the 6x6 version, using the black/white fabric as the bounce, and the 1/4 Grid as the second layer of diffusion.

For the key light, I used the Aputure 600C, which gave just enough level to make sure we weren’t clipping the window.
Recently got my hands on the Storm 1200X which will make this setup even more versatile.

Not pictured, but very necessary: sandbags to keep the setup from tipping over, and a magic arm and superclamp to make sure the bounce stays angled!

Throw in a black flag for some neg fill, and this is what you get!

A handful of stills from the 48HR we shot the other weekend.

No 48HR is without its challenges, but I’m so happy with these images we managed to get.

One of my favourite locations to ever have shot in, and that first image is perhaps my favourite frame I’ve shot!
