(Poem in Caption too)

Persevere she says while our fists remain clenched. Mouths shut and ears dumb. We remain silent against acts unjust, casually sweeping them under the rug. Persevere she says, a mother whose kids seized for a call. Her six months old captive, could have grown or had a fall. Persevere she says, while cut to the bone, tortured and shot twice. In the dark inferno, she reside. Raped, beaten and exploited, we remain quiet while she's forced to walk on The Holy Voice. Persevere she says although wasn't permitted her family to meet, nor allowed the kids to greet. She couldn't pay her mother heed and awaiting her release, to the death she bleed. Persevere she says, the one who as a child had a heart tender in soul. She trembled when a hand hurt her doll. Now they accuse her of an alleged crime, a monster invented, a lie of the time. The irony and tyranny of calling her a terrorist, sold by her own so called patriotist. No proof of murder, none to claim, yet eighty-six years to bear the blame? what a shame! Persevere she says despite the horror, terror and loud shrieks. The prisoners could hear her wrenching weeps. Persevere she says for whom in dream, even the Prophet cried. It's the test of Ummah, to her He replied.

Keep sharing and spreading awareness. May Allah grant freedom to her and to everyone trapped in the chains of injustice and oppression. Aameen.
If you’re not familiar with her story, this poem reflects her life (inspired by one of her own poems, written with remarkable faith and courage while she was enduring immense suffering. It moved me so deeply that it compelled me to write this.).
If you’d like to know more, feel free to ask, I’ll share whatever little I know. The best way to learn about her in detail is to follow this page: @aafiamovementofficial

Silence is no longer an option. Raise your voice, spread awareness, donate and take action in any way you can.

To eyes that see beyond the visible and minds that unravel the unspoken, Arrakis is but a name, the story speaks of something far greater.

I asked Him for signs, and He showed
Mysteries unfolding the longer I bowed.
The veils flew back as I tried,
Faces revealed with an aching sigh.
Intentions surfaced, truth drawn clear,
And all the blood behind the cloak appeared.

Some masks worn, some dripping red;
Sweetness sprinkled in every cup, truth unsaid.
Players moving pawns where their ego led.
Fishermen casting different lines into the same sea,
Spiders weaving homes at every corner freely.

The player sacrificing his own pawns,
The fisherman frying each catch,
And the spider hiding in its dark space
Each sign revealing their truest face.

The message was clear, and so was my fear
As I focused, the fog disappeared.
He listened and gave me what I needed.
I walked away from a path I once mistook as right,
and chose never to return to its deceiving light.

I was going to post something else, but this poem came to mind n felt like it should go first.. even though I don’t usually care about sequence or theme.

Some of us are great at comforting others n sometimes wish someone could do the same for us. But not everyone feels the way we do. So if you ever feel that way, you’re not alone. I see you. ❤️

I listened to this song n have been drawn to it as it speaks about corruption, injustice, n the dark truths the world chooses to overlook. A few lines also echoed the Palestine’s situation. That resonance made me write this piece. I don’t know if it’ll make sense to ya, but it’s something I deeply felt n needed to put into words.
Keep raising awareness 🇵🇸🍉
