As we have entered the trench season , it's time to wear your moody vanillas attached with a few unique hooks... @ormondejayne A tailored perfume brand with the British elegance and their new novelty is no exception. Vanilla Aube , formerly known as vanilla Mistral is a fig infused nutty and unsweetened vanilla under the wraps of sweet and spicy woods. The opening unfurls with an effervescent, spicy-fruity pomegranate accord. As the composition settles, iris, fig, and cashmeran introduce a soft, almost suede-like texture, lending the fragrance an understated nutty elegance with an enigmatic vanilic tinge. In the drydown, sandalwood and vetiver bring a quietly earthy, woody dimension, while ambergris adds a warm, mineral depth that gives the composition a sensual, enveloping finish. Now this is a niche craftsmanship we all tend to look forward to and I'm happy to smell one after quite a while . I know a lot of you got Guiac 10 which is indeed a wonderful woody clean musk and has stood the test of time for years. The New chanel Coco mademoiselle crush absolute - A pleasant dna, deviant from the original which is a luminous modern take on a patchouli forward perfume , extremely familiar scent profile with an added scrumptious lychee note on top and fruity esque vanilla in the base, poor performance on the skin, moderate on your clothing, intimate projection and I would say I impulse bought a fragrance with 100% clarity on my mind that I loved the way it smelled in the store , loved the way the SA packed this beautiful 50 ml bottle with a little charm , brought her home, continued wearing it for the past couple of days only to realize - I can't smell the perfume after 40 minutes and it's starting to bother me a lot that she resembles a viral perfume from another brand which I never owned but I should have. I'm regretting my 200 dollars that I spent on her because it's not a scent profile that's very experimental and you need your time to troubleshoot in order to understand the nuances , it's a perfume that you can comprehend quite literally in your head but I wish it delivered a little more on the performance category and offered an elevated chanel experience towards the end . I feel pretty for a stretch of 45 minutes , but I was looking forward to wearing her with the utmost love especially because I bought something from Chanel after a long time. Summer of bittersweet .... Some sweet travel memories, chilled beach days on the lake but also a few unavoidable stressors in the mix. As always I am starting to feel I didn't do much to make it worthwhile. Every year the feeling gets more intense in late summer and I guess this is what we call "Summer Blues". But C'est la vie correct? We still got a couple of warm sunny days with partial rain ahead and I'm looking forward to whore those days will take us , one last swim in the lake and all the dance we can do under the sun. When a perfume becomes the center of attention and unapologetically a real compliment magnet. A quick story : I had an amazing night out this Saturday with a bunch of friends. After a few cocktails, we decided to walk around the city and enjoy the mid summer breeze. While we were crossing this man, he goes what is that scent in the air that smells so good and is borderline driving him mad. Sakib says it's probably the perfume and he doesn't think twice to come closer , almost hug him and label the smell a pure intoxication. I told you Summer 2026 is about Orange Blossom and Neroli. So happy Friday and let's get to know about another beauty from my absolute favorite scent profile. Belle d'Arles is a graceful, understated fragrance that beautifully showcases the beauty of two key components of butter orange tree - Orange blossom and Neroli. While the orange blossom remains the heart of the composition, the amber accord gently anchors it, creating a smooth, resinous foundation for the florals to bloom. Neroli gives a crisp and fresh petitgranic prescience to offset the honeyed sweetness of orange blossom , however an underlying peach accord adds a subtle gourmand sensuality. I got this bottle from the @fragonardparfumeurofficiel boutique in Eze when I visited the hilltop town for a couple of hours. And all the illustrations and motifs in their perfume bottles, home diffusers, towels and soaps were equally as charming as the idyllic town of Eze. It's become one of the best Orange blossom novelties I have put my nose on out of closer to 100 tries so far. This happy , uplifting, warm floral seamlessly radiates refined sophistication through a soft velvety minimalism veiled in luminous white hues. 10/10 in performance, projection and scent bubble. 2026 summer is mostly about orange blossom and neroli. The new edition to the series is this gorgeous honeyed Moroccan orange blossom infused with watery freesia and a whisper of lactonic flare on the bed of angelic glaze of vanilla. The perfume is inspired by the very music of one of the sensational pop artists and the perfumer tried to replicate the rhythms of the tune by navigating through both seductive oriental notes and vibrant aromatic airiness. Initially the scent profile felt like something we all had smelled before, so my approach to her did not start with a lot of enthusiasm. But boy was I wrong about "Like a virgin " big time! Because the hot humid summer weather is doing wonders to my skin whenever I get a whiff of this magnificent flora. The nuances of effervescent and green tinge wrapped around the creamy sensuality have been weaved into the veins of this perfume in an immaculate approach. We hiked up to the famous "Lulu Lemon" view point. On the way up there we stopped at Duffy Lake And on the way back we sat, relaxed and had tea at Seton Lake.
