✨OUR STORY I’ve always loved beautiful fragrances. Inspired by my Nigerian father, who taught me the importance of quality fragrances with perfume & cologne choices he purchased from all over the world, and my Big Mama, who taught me that a clean home wasn’t complete without the perfect candle for the season, I learned early that scent has the power to evoke memories and transform a mood. As a wife, boy mom, entrepreneur, and childcare provider, I spent years pouring into everyone else. Eventually, I realized I needed something that poured back into me. During the pandemic, after losing my Big Mama, Arousing Aromas came to me in a dream. Candle making became my therapy, my healing, and a way to honor her legacy. I traveled to Miami to master my craft because I believed if I was going to do it, it had to be done right. I can’t believe I self taught myself to make candles! Im officially a Chandler! Today, Arousing Aromas has been featured seasonally at West Elm, showcased at artisan markets, craft shows, pop up shops and gifted to legendary R&B group SWV, and can be found in boutiques and salons throughout North Houston. We’re also proud to call Evolve Collective near Memorial City our retail home. Today, Arousing Aromas is more than candles it’s a luxury lifestyle brand created to inspire self-love, confidence, relaxation, and a touch of seduction. Thank you for being part of this journey. The best is yet to come. Xoxo, Yemisi 🖤 ✨ Where Scent Meets Seduction ✨ #MotivationMonday #ArousingAromas #HoustonCandleMaker #OurStory taken in Houston, Texas by @arousingaromas
