How Do You Create the Sound of a Dinosaur?

In this video, I recreate the sound of a dinosaur from scratch using different recordings, sound processing, and sound design techniques.

The goal is to turn completely unrelated sounds into something that feels huge, powerful, and terrifying.

🎧 Headphones recommended for the full experience.

I’m very happy to share that “The Crane” (La Grúa) was awarded 2nd Place at the Tacoronte Photography Marathon 2026.

In this video, I explain how I took the photograph and what caught my attention in the scene — the old crane, its reflection in the water, and the light at sunset coming together at just the right moment.

The crane was built between the 1960s and 1970s and is still used today to lift boats and smaller vessels into the water.

A simple scene, but one of those moments where everything seemed to line up.
