Nothing carries warmth, history, and emotion quite like a mother’s saree. 🪷🕊️✨
For this session, we celebrated rich Indian heritage by gently draping this sweet baby girl in a saree deeply cherished by her mama. Every fold of silk, intricate weave, and golden border holds years of celebrations, blessings, and memories—now tenderly holding the family’s newest beginning.
I love building depth through rich layers and authentic textures in my work. But while draping her, the most heartwarming thought crossed my mind:
Imagine decades from now, when this baby girl is all grown up. She will drape this exact same saree around her shoulders for her own milestone, and her mama will smile and say—“You were wrapped in these very threads when you were only days old.”
To know that this portrait is just the beginning of a lifelong before-and-after… that thought fills me with so much joy. Being a small part of that legacy and memory-keeping is truly the most rewarding gift. 🤍

The sweet spot for these dreamy, curled-up poses is typically between day 5 and day 20 after birth. During these first few weeks, babies are naturally sleepier, deeply accustomed to cozy curling, and much less likely to be disturbed by gentle wrapping and posing transitions.
Because babies run on their own schedules, we reserve session dates tentatively based on your expected due date during your second or third trimester to guarantee availability in the studio. 🕊️👶
