South Melbourne FC can confirm the signing of Arran Cocks for the 2026 season.

A fast, direct winger with an eye for goal, Cocks arrives after an outstanding Australian Championship campaign with Broadmeadow Magic, where the Newcastle-based side reached the national competition. He also brings experience in Europe, having previously spent time in Scotland with St. Johnstone.

Football Director Peter Kokotis said:
“Arran is an exciting young talent who caught our attention during the Australian Championship. He brings genuine pace, directness and an eye for goal, along with valuable experience in Europe at a young age. We are really looking forward to seeing him take his game to another level with us in 2026 starting from the Oceania Professional League in January.”

Cocks impressed throughout the Australian Championship, and the club looks forward to welcoming him to Lakeside for the upcoming season. by @arran.wc
