flowers, just like humans,
need some trimming in life to grow and thrive,
they need water and enough warmth to survive

just like us,
they bloom on their own seasons,
they can uplift their surroundings,

and sometimes,
even better than us
they are always true to themselves;
a rose never pretends to be a tulip, just like a tulip never pretends to be a rose

they may change colors to show how they are really doing, but never pretend to be more soft or more hard

just being there as they are, hoping to be appreciated while they're here taken in Brooklyn, New York by @arrangedbyh
