Being a woman in business is truly a dream...

Being invited to @empowher_event was an absolute pleasure. My first time putting myself out there and the results exceeded my expectations. It was overwhelming, but in the best possible way.

Connecting with powerful women was inspiring and motivating. Anyone can improve and grow, and being around like-minded individuals was empowering.

People questioned my experience as a social media strategist…

Meanwhile, some businesses were posting the same service graphic every week and wondering why their audience wasn’t connecting😭

Last summer, while working with my mentor Carol through Life Is A Special Event, I was brought on to support City Acupuncture, owned by Rosalind.

The business was thriving, but its Instagram was quite and focused mostly on services.

Rosalind’s goal was to build community, so I knew another “Book Now” post wasn’t the answer.

Instead, I used a professional photo of her and shaped her story about What City Acupuncture meant to her into one clear founder-led post.

Within the first hour, it was already outperforming the accounts usual content.

The experience confirmed something for me:

I don’t just make posts. I build social media strategies that give people a reason to connect with your business.

She built a business and finished what she started. 🎓

June 4, 2026 marked the end of a long, challenging, and very unpredictable four-year chapter.

During that time, I balanced school while building ARRA Ready.

And let’s be honest—the journey was not always giving “perfectly organized success story.” 😅

There were difficult seasons.
Unexpected setbacks.
Highs, lows, self-doubt, and moments when finishing felt very far away.

But I kept moving.

This achievement is bigger than a graduation picture.

It is a reminder that your progress does not have to look perfect to be meaningful.

You can pause.
You can adjust.
You can take longer than expected.
You can experience a messy middle.

And you can still finish.

This journey taught me that resilience is not about never struggling. It is about continuing to believe that your goal is still worth pursuing.

Today, I am celebrating the version of me who kept going—even when the path was not easy.

Yeah… I disappeared for a little bit.

But I promise, I had a valid excuse.

I officially graduated university, took a second to breathe, and now I’m back with more time, more ideas, and a lot of projects I’m excited to share!

Thank you for sticking around through the quiet seals, the chaos, and my very questionable posting schedule.

Stepping onto that stage for EmpowHER was a big moment for me because this was my first time publicly speaking about ARRA.🎤✨

And honestly? The nerves were LOUD (and so was everyone else!).

But this experience reminded me that confidence does not always show up first. Sometimes you feel shaky, overthink everything, and still choose to show up anyway.

What I took from this:
- showing up nervous is still showing up
- preparation matters, but trusting yourself matters too
- the more you do hard things, the more possible they start to feel

Next time, I want to slow down more, breathe more, and trust myself more.

Also, I’m still here, I haven’t disappeared😅. I’ve just been focused on graduating! Stay tuned, because more updates are coming soon! 👩‍🎓

Behind every “confident” reel is a bunch of bad takes, forgotten lines, weird pronunciation, and at least one laughing fit 😂

This is the side of content creation most people don’t see.

Most creators are not naturally confident on camera. We just practise, keep filming, and slowly get more comfortable.
