On March 23, 2023, I officially started taking clients, not knowing how far this would really go. There were days I doubted my talent and moments where I didn’t fully believe in myself.

I was a senior in high school, just ready to graduate and honestly not taking this skill as seriously as I should have. But the more I did hair, the more I found my passion. I gained interest, understanding, and a genuine love for what I do. This is deeper than money for me. The simple conversations, the energy exchanged, and being able to contribute to someone’s day means everything. The connections I’ve built with my clients are unmatched.

In just two years, I’ve created so many meaningful relationships and even saying two years still feels crazy. You’d think I’ve been doing hair for years. Through this journey, I’ve grown not only as a stylist but as a person. I’ve learned how to carry myself, how to treat my business with the respect it deserves, and how to know my worth and value.

I’m beyond grateful to everyone who has supported me since day one.. through low-quality materials, different locations, policy changes, price changes and all. As many of you know, I’m also a college student, traveling back and forth between school and home to do hair. Having people wait on me in both cities, travel to me, and continue to show love pushes me to keep going harder every day.

Most of all, I thank God for the position He has placed me in. He gives me the strength, courage, and confidence to keep pushing; not just myself, but for those around me too. Without Him and each one of my clients, I wouldn’t be where I am today. My heart is full, and I’m beyond grateful. Thank you.
