Apparently I have a type 🖤

Warm neutrals, black details, natural textures, a little green… whether it’s a bathroom, my nails, a car or something I spot walking around the city.

Different things. Same design language. 🤎 by @arrowedesign

Wellness, lately 🤍

I used to think “wellness” had to look a certain way — the perfect workout, routine, meal, morning… all of it.

Lately, I’m realizing it’s a lot simpler than that.

Moving my body. Getting outside. Trying new things. Spending time with good people. Taking care of myself. Slowing down when I need to.

And yes, sometimes it’s drinking tea while getting a foot soak in a beautiful room 😂🤎

The more intentional I’ve become about how I want to feel in my own life, the more I’ve realized how connected wellness and design really are.

The spaces we spend time in matter.
Our routines matter.
The little things that make us feel grounded matter.

Maybe wellness isn’t about doing everything perfectly — maybe it’s just continuing to create a life that feels good to live in. 🤍

Still dreaming about this strawberry cloud cold brew 🍓🤎

Week in my shoes. 📝

A few moments from this week’s projects, planning sessions, client meetings, and everything in between.

Building with intention, one day at a time. 🤍

One of my favorite parts of every project is building the finish palette.

I genuinely feel like a kid in a candy store when all the samples start coming together. It’s the first moment the vision starts to feel real.

It’s never just about choosing pretty finishes—it’s about finding materials that work together to create a space that feels thoughtful, cohesive, and intentional.

(And of course, my little assistant, Magnolia, makes sure to approve every selection. 🐾🤍) by @arrowedesign

One thing I’m really grateful I did this year was say yes to this trip.

As I launched Arrowe, I knew I wanted to learn from people who had built businesses I admired and who were willing to share the real behind-the-scenes—not just the highlight reel.

The Haven Retreat gave me exactly that.

Beautiful spaces, thoughtful design, and incredible hospitality, yes. But what I’ll remember most are the conversations. Being surrounded by entrepreneurs who openly shared their experiences, lessons, challenges, and encouragement was incredibly inspiring. I came home with pages of notes, new friendships, & fresh inspiration.

If there’s a trip, retreat, conference, or experience you’ve been thinking about, consider this your little nudge to do it. Sometimes the biggest growth happens when you step outside of your comfort zone and put yourself in a room full of people who challenge, inspire, and encourage you.

So grateful for this experience, the women I met along the way, and the reminder that investing in yourself is rarely wasted. 🤍

A mountain modern retreat 🌲

From framing walk-throughs to the final layered details, this home was designed to feel like a true escape — warm, grounded, and deeply connected to the landscape around it. A place for guests to slow down and experience the beauty of the Black Hills.

One of my favorite projects I’ve had the opportunity to work on in the Black Hills. 🤍 by @arrowedesign

Most people see the finished space.

This is what happens behind it.

The decisions, coordination, and details that bring everything together.

From scope and selections to material coordination and on-site verification—each step plays a role in how a project comes together.

I work between design and construction to help create spaces that are not only beautiful—but thoughtfully executed from start to finish.

Every name has a story.

When I began shaping the vision for my business, I wanted a name that represented direction, intention, and movement forward.

The name Arrowe was inspired by the idea of an arrow — something that moves with purpose. At its best, design does the same thing. It guides a space, connects people, and brings a vision into reality.

But the name also holds something deeply personal for me.

The arrow is also connected to Down syndrome awareness, which is close to my heart because one of the people I love most in the world is my niece, Rae, who has Down syndrome. She reminds me often that joy, perspective, and beauty come in many forms.

As Arrowe grows, my hope is to dedicate a portion of what this studio becomes to supporting Down syndrome awareness and advocacy.

Arrowe Design has been something on my heart for a long time.

I’ve spent much of my life learning this industry from the inside — growing up around flooring, building, working in lighting, and understanding construction from the ground up.

I’ve always loved the space where design and construction meet — where ideas become real and great people come together to build something meaningful.

Arrowe Design was created to help bridge that gap. Connecting people, process, and projects to bring thoughtful spaces to life.

I’m excited to keep growing, collaborating, and seeing where this journey leads.

Grateful for the people who have encouraged me along the way 🤍 by @arrowedesign
