::Horizon Zero Dawn - Coming Home::
...
New inceptionism painting, this time after a landscape from Wilhelm Leu and the Tallneck concept is altered in a way @ianmcque would do. Was a lot fun to paint this and learned a lot👨‍🎓I am in no way affiliated, this is just fanart or better said a double fanart.

::AT-AT among the Sierra Nevada::
.
Painted this a while ago (no official work) more info on my deviantArt (link in bio).
The idea behind this is:“ What if Albert Bierstadt painted a StarWars scene?“
Can‘t really say how much I learned from this as an artist.
.
⭕️What is your favorite Star Wars vehicle? Always looking for new ideas.

::Howl‘s moving Castle at Staubbach Falls/ Switzerland::
.
„Hayao Miyazaki meets Albert Bierstadt.“
.
⭕️Re-uplad with more material: Swipe left⭕️
.
Inspired by the Landscape painting of Albert Bierstadt from 1860 (and based upon a very bad resolution reference of that), I carefully recreated the Landscape and combined it with the moving castle as depicted perfectly in the Movie from Studio Ghibli.
.
I wanted to capture the essence of what made the wacky building special and found that it is mainly the atmosphere of the landscapes Miyazaki built around his subjects. I learned a lot from this. Also sorry for not having a new Ghibli - piece yet.
I‘m working on new works and can’t decide which one to push forward - let me know your favorite movie from SG in a comment...🙏
