And just like that, it’s the end of an era. This morning we walked out of 36 Eckford St for the last time. The place I’ve called home for the past 6 years (and James for 14!) — It’s the longest I’ve lived at one address my entire adult life so it feels especially big to me. This is where James and I fell in love, locked down during the pandemic, spent our first night after getting married, where I got to live next door to @nitibus7 for 4 years, welcomed Sami into our lives and saw so many of her firsts. I’ve been sentimental about every place I’ve moved out of, but this one is a doozy 🏠❤️ by @arsie

Five years ago today, @jkim1207 and I got married, just the two of us! We made it official on the front lawn of a closed ranger station in downtown Moab (because it had the only patch of shade we could find), and later that afternoon we exchanged our private vows on a cliff in Canyonlands National Park. It was the middle of COVID, so the park was nearly empty, it felt like the world was ours.

I’d found my dress on a sale rack in the next town over, picked up flowers from a little local shop, and we toasted our future with a cooler of Miller High Life. Shoutout to @emilyklarerphotography for being there to document it all.

Somehow the last five years have felt like forever and a blink of an eye all at once. Navigating marriage, parenthood, and life with you has been a privilege. Here’s to the next five, my love! Happy Anniversary! ❤️ taken in Canyonlands National Park by @arsie
