Sleepy Komodo dragon in Komodo island. Swipe for close ups because the textures of the scales are worth seeing up close. This was from my second time visiting Komodo island in April 2025, and probably not my last! These animals are so fascinating and I love getting to see them. While they were all pretty chill when we saw this one & the others, they can definitely be dangerous to humans. They can swim and can be found in the other islands surrounding the main Komodo island - each time I've gone, the guides have told us not to leave the beaches because there might be komodos in the jungle and they will attack humans. Even on the main island, the tours stay closer to the beach and don't venture too far into the denser jungle in the middle of the island. . . Shot on Sony A7RV with Tamron 50-400mm lens. . . (PS: I'm Team Black when it comes to HotD, but Vhagar looks like a Komodo dragon, hence the song choice. 🀣) . . . . #wildlifephoto #wildlife_perfection #komodo #naturegram #natgeoyourshot @sonyalpha.anz @sonyalphafemale by @art.aishadiandra
Some adorable grey-headed flying foxes πŸ¦‡ I love visiting their colony and watching them. They are so adorable πŸ₯Ή . . . Happy spooky season featuring one of our resident ravens with one eye blinking. Trying to make an active effort to start posting on here again... . . . Spent the weekend with my sayang at Wilsons Prom. Do you know what it is like being in a relationship with a photographer? You stand around a lot. I mean a lot. by @art.aishadiandra
Our regular raven visitor. Swipe for a close up. . . . Trying to get over my weird anxiety over posting my work by posting regularly on this account where I feel like there's less expected of me and all the work I do for this account is my personal work. . . . . #australianbirds #raven #moodynature #birds_captures #darkgrammer by @art.aishadiandra
A very cute & friendly squirrel at the Grand Canyon. I love the reflection in the squirrel's eyes. Scroll to the end for close ups. . . . . #wildlifephoto #naturephotographyπŸ“· #grandcanyon #moodynature @sonyalphafemale by @art.aishadiandra
Finally making my comeback on here. Posting anxiety is a weird thing, but I have a huge backlog of photos filling up my Lightroom cloud so it's definitely time to share them. I have photographed and posted so many Australian little ravens on this account, so it felt right to post a raven for my comeback, but from an international trip instead of my backyard. This is a gorgeous raven that I spent a bit of time with at Petrified Forest National Park in Arizona. I loved seeing the differences between the ravens in the US and the ones I see here in Australia. They were huge in the US, but I do love the white-eyed corvids of Australia. I'm challenging myself to post at least once a week on here, so fingers crossed I can keep it up. If you've stuck around, thank you. by @art.aishadiandra

Trying to get back into drawing (my first creative love) so I can hopefully partake in Drawlloween this year. I haven't really drawn for myself in a very long time and feel like my drawing skills are very rusty. So I'm challenging myself to practice drawing with no references, no plans, no concept, no thumbnail sketch. Just going with the brain flow and seeing what happens. Starting out with much more forgiving digital art before I pick up a real pencil again. Yes I omitted n*pples because I knew I'd have to hide them for IG anyway, but I'll probably add them in later. πŸ˜‚ . . . . . . #darkartist #darkart #digitalart #procreate #procreateart #spookyseason #undead #digitalsketch by @art.aishadiandra
