Oh how I am going to miss driving

Yesterday we said goodbye to Arthur. He has been with us since I was in kindergarten and now leaves us as I go off to my next adventure. A poetic ending to such a wonderful creatures life.

I always said the only slightly scary thing about him was his bark. If someone ever broke in Arthur would have licked them to death.

He was such a friendly dog. He never had a mean bone in his body. Whenever someone came inside he would immediately be at the door wagging his tail and wanting attention before darting into the family room for a toy to play.

He brightened everyone’s day. He made sure no one left our house without a smile on their face.

Goodbye my hiking buddy, I love you to the moon and back again. I hope you make the stars as happy as you made everyone down here. by @art3mis183
