EXHIBITION — ARENDONK | MIXED MEDIA
“VIJF PLANKEN”
AIDEN LIN
ACADEMIE ARENDONK — 06/12/25

Mixed Media Installation
Textile & Wood
75 × 210 cm

—

The so-called "Theme" for this project was called "Vijf planken" (five planks). And my objective was to get away from my associations with the material wood, or at least using it. In contrast to hard, coarse wood, I used various textiles to create my own wood grain. I then made five different versions of these sheets to fulfill the theme.

Held up by transparent, nylon threads, and floating about 10cm above the floor, I believe my objective has been achieved.
