Fan art Friday: Animal brides I love fables and mythology from around the world and quite a few feature men getting married to secret animals. This is Melusine a Frankish tale. A young knight finds mysterious beauty in the woods and immediately wants to marry her, she agrees on the condition he must not see her bathe. But curiosity gets the better of him and he finds out she is part fish and very pissed, so much that she vanished never to see him again. #fanart #fables #myths #melusine #inkedpromarkers #cartoonstyle by @art__cee

Random pic inspired by work. In geography this week the class studied England 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁥󠁮󠁧󠁿 they had to watch a terrible 8bit graphic of the story of Saint George when the website failed. #art #fanart #england #saintgeorge #saint #stgeorgescross #dragon #princess #englishrose #watercolor #watercolours #inkeddrawing #drawing by @art__cee

Fan art of a cute web comic I found on webtoon. It’s called colour guard by @mahoucup and I am a big fan of the magical girls designs. Ah, taking me back to my sailor moon days. #mahoucup #fanart #blackfanart #colorguard #watercolor #watercolours #webtoon by @art__cee

I took a little liberty with this pic of @life_on_mars96 I love the traveller feel to it and added accessories such the backpack, compass and magical staff. @modernmantuamaker featured @blackgirl_bigdress on her page which led me to her youtube channel where I binged season 1 and 2 of this mini series. As fellow period drama costume lover Adrienne is my kindred spirit. #blackgirlbigdress #blackcontentcreators #fanart #perioddrama #historicalcostume #historicalreenactment #blackgirlnerd #nerdstuff #promarkers by @art__cee

Over the past few weeks difficult conversations long over due in the wake of a tragedy have been happening all over social media. With the anger and sadness has also come a push for collaboration and positivity. I must give a shoutout to the historical costume community for highlighting black content creators.
