Money God explores the uneasy relationship between wealth, worship, and mortality by transforming money into a modern deity built from symbols of desire and decay. At its center, a monumental skull serves as both an altar and reminder that every pursuit of fortune ends the same way, while the glowing gem embedded in its forehead represents the illusion of enlightenment promised by material success. Above it, a smaller radiant idol shelters beneath a temple-like roof crowned with a single all-seeing eye, suggesting that greed has become its own religion—one that watches, judges, and demands devotion. The neon-green money stack in the foreground functions as an offering, charged with an almost supernatural energy that lures the viewer toward the shrine. Organic cables and roots weave throughout the composition, blurring the boundary between machine, nature, and the subconscious, implying that our economic systems have grown into living organisms that entangle every aspect of human life. Even the disembodied lips in the corner hint at the seductive promises whispered by consumer culture. Painted in luminous, saturated color, Money God is less a celebration of wealth than a cautionary icon—a surreal monument asking what we sacrifice when money becomes something we no longer simply use, but instead choose to worship.
