Most newsletters don't fail on content — they fail on layout. 📧
Here are 5 rules that make an email easy to scan, easy to read, and easy to act on: one clear headline, one idea per section, generous whitespace, a single strong CTA, and a mobile-first layout.
Design for the thumb-scroll first, and your readers will actually finish reading.

Your New Year invite has one job: get people through the door. 🎉
Save these 5 rules before you design yours:

1️⃣ One clear headline
2️⃣ Date, time & venue first
3️⃣ One festive accent colour
4️⃣ Plenty of white space
5️⃣ A clear RSVP

The best invites look simple — because every detail earned its place.

Most design projects don't fail on talent — they fail on the brief. ✍️

A clear brief saves revisions, missed deadlines, and endless feedback loops. Keep it to these 5 essentials: goal, audience, must-haves, deadline, and one decision-maker.

Short. Clear. Actionable. That's a brief clients actually read.

Buttons people actually click 👆
A beautiful button that nobody notices is just decoration. These 5 rules fix that: one action per button, contrast over decoration, clear verbs instead of vague words, thumb-friendly size, and testing in real context.
Small change, big difference in clicks.

Black Friday is designed in October. 🛍️
One offer, one deadline, and a price big enough to read on a phone — prep the whole sale set now, schedule it later, and November stops being a panic.
Step 1: lock the offer. Step 2: set the deadline. Step 3: build the graphic system once, then reuse it.

The smallest design at the biggest dinner 🍂
A Thanksgiving table card has one job: get guests to the right seat, beautifully.
1️⃣ Name large — readable from across the table
2️⃣ One warm motif — a single autumn leaf, nothing more
3️⃣ A tent fold that stands through dessert
Small card, big first impression. Save this for later 🔖 — and tell us: whose name gets the best seat? 👇

Your pattern isn't finished until it repeats perfectly. ✨
A great POD pattern starts with ONE strong tile — then you test it in all four directions before it ever hits a shirt, tote or mug.
Check the edges, keep the motif simple, and let the repeat do the work.

A workbook is read with a pen in hand. ✏️
Writing space IS the content — bold prompts guide the reader, and answers get lines, not boxes.
Left: cramped and overwhelming. Right: clear, calm, and ready to write.

Twelve months, one grid, endless patience. 🗓️
A wall calendar works when one grid never changes — design it once, then let the art change month by month, with holidays marked before the art begins.
One system, twelve months, zero redesigns.

People don't read menus. They scan them. 🍽️
One hero dish per section, prices quiet and dishes loud, and white space between courses — that's what turns a list of dishes into orders.
A good menu guides the eye the way a good waiter guides a table.
