POSTS STORIES REELS
Hello! So, a while back, I made something very close to my heart. A lot of people worked really hard on this project, and it is something I couldn't have done without their patience, talent, and constant support. I would be beyond grateful if you could take the time to watch it and kindly let me know your thoughts on DM. Once again, thank you for your time, and thanks to my amazing crew @dubaisoprano , @matthewtcorbett, @katherinecjones @alcshath , @vgkoome, @ligera.music and a big thank you to @the.warehouse.ae for letting us shoot at their beautiful cafe ! #film #filmmaker #actors #filmmaking #artist #screenwriter #screenwriting by @art_charvi
Editing is the retelling of a story that has been created, and it takes true skills to make a film what it is meant to be. Thank You @alcshath for your hard work 🙏❤️ #filmmaker #filmmaking #ophelia #editor #editing #shortfilm by @art_charvi
Yesterday, I had the privilege of witnessing something truly mesmerising. Directed by Mohammad Rahmanian, the play 'Street songs' ( ترانه های خیابان ) takes you through the conversations between different and diverse personalities. I was captivated from the very beginning as they passionately engaged in debates, laughed over little things, and shed tears as they realised that what gives them happiness and causes despair were some times not too different from the other. The acts were entirely in Farsi, and one may wonder how a person who does not speak the language would understand these scenrios within which the story takes place. That is where beautiful works like these become a reminder of how acting and expression, transcends the boundaries of spoken words to convey exactly what is meant to be conveyed. And I, in the depths of my heart, experienced this in person as I found myself laughing over things I did not understand, but I did in many ways. As simple as it may sound, the fact was that in that frozen moment of time, they had become one with whom they portrayed. Now I understand that ideally, it is how an actor should be but here I could see how in every breath and step they took, they were faithfully who they claimed to be in that very moment. A simple thankyou to @rrnegarr would not suffice for inviting a bunch of us to be part of a beautiful community. Every second we spent immersing in the warmth of the Persian culture and community at the @mehromah.arthouse.cafe through their art and food, will always remain some of my favourite moments. #persian #theatre #mehromah #persianactors #art #music by @art_charvi

Three days ago, @imitari.man and I had the amazing opportunity to shoot a reel for @the.warehouse.ae. Situated at the @Goshi Warehouse Village, the Warehouse Art cafe is sure to become a Coffee Connoisseur's favourite hang out spot with its impressive selection of coffee, prepared with a lot of technique and dedication. The stunning interiors of the cafe take your breath away as soon as you enter, and the ambience makes it just the right place to relax and savour your coffee. The cafe attempts to create a unique experience for customers by bringing together the elements of fine coffee and art together. And I must say that the cafe's friendly staff really add to the charm of this beautiful cafe. Our intention was to create visual content that truly captures the soul of this spectacular establishment in every sense and to give you a hint of the experience that awaits you at this cafe. It was an absolute pleasure working with @imitari.man, whose skills you can clearly witness in this reel, and the staff at the @the.warehouse.ae who helped us immensely by being a part of this video Make sure you check the cafe out as soon as you can ! #Filmmaker #contentcreation #writer #cafe #concept #art #art_charvi #iphone by @art_charvi
It would be fair to say that moments like these truly help you realise how much you love what you do. As an artist, I think I've come to realise that true validation comes from being around anything artistic whether it is a play or a movie you're watching, a film crew you're part of, writing a story or a script, admiring a painting or even being in the company of someone who loves art as much as you do, and that it is not exactly from the compliments you recieve for your work though they can be a source of motivation. But I feel the former is a stronger reminder of why you chose this path, and that is probably why even listening to a simple song makes me feel validated because it reminds me that even the work I do, gives me an opening to collaborate with like minded people to create something beautiful. These photos were captured in a similar moment, and I should also thank @raindancedubai for giving me the opportunity to grow as a filmmaker by allowing me to be a part of some wonderful events and shoots. #Filmmaking #writer #raindancefilmschool by @art_charvi
A beautiful BTS image, my amazing first AD/sound guy/editor @alcshath captured right after the lights had been set for the particular scene. Getting the exact kind of lighting and shot you want becomes a lot easier when you have an amazing DOP/GAFFER like @vgkoome. Working as a three person crew meant we had to handle different jobs at a time, but thanks to my amazing teammates @alcshath, @vgkoome, we got through 🙏 #shortfilm #BTS #OPHELIA #director #writer by @art_charvi
A look at the before and after scenes from our Sci-fi short-film 'Imperfect beauty'. Getting the final result that you want is possible when you have an incredible crew like we did on this! And shout out to @thinksmarthub and @mawahebdubai for being kind enough to allow us to shoot at their absolutely stunning locations, perfect for the scenes. As filmmakers starting out with a minimal or no budget, establishments like these really matter as they understand our desire that outweighs the very little financial backup we have and are gracious enough to help us out 🙏 by @art_charvi
From the conceptualisation to the pre-production, production, and post-production of 'Ophelia', it has been a beautiful journey. I couldn't have done it without the amazing support from an exceptionally talented cast and crew, who I am truly grateful for having been a part of this project. Thankyou @the.warehouse.ae for allowing us to use your wonderful establishment as one of the locations for the film. It wouldn't have been a smooth shoot if it weren't for the support from your amazing staff. Also, your coffee is amazing ! Thankyou @raindancedubai for all the guidance and support. Thankyou @nethriram for letting us use your quaint little apartment straight out of pinterest for our shoot. Once again thankyou @vgkoome , @alcshath , @matthewtcorbett , @dubaisoprano , @katherinecjones, For your time and effort 🙏 Thankyou for the wonderful music @ligera.music 🙏 Thank you @elohimxofficial @malcolmfilms @alhindid @adam.c_05 @saifhiyasat @artur_konong228 For your support and patience🙏 by @art_charvi
