SO my daughter is actually ALSO obsessed with Godzilla. 😂

A regular morning routine for her is to run up to the TV, point at the screen and say, “Ahzillailla? Wraaaaa!” And she'll even sing “dun dun dun 🎶” as best she can while she dances/stomps around.

Plus, with the Godzilla Minus Zero release date being right around the corner, this just HAD to be my next project. 🦖🎨

Story time! 🔥

This is a mural I was painting for my soon-to-be daughter. I lost my home before I could finish it, and it broke my heart. I'd designed it specifically for her.

She was named after the cinders of a fire, so I wanted to make her a sunset scene with a campfire in front of a lake. I actually drew the original sketch for this in my server book while I was working at the Cheesecake Factory.

I recently decided to redraw her mural and finish it digitally, since I don't have a wall to paint for her anymore. And honestly, seeing it finally complete left me feeling so good.

These last couple of years have been DIFFICULT. My life got completely flipped upside down, and rebuilding something new after everything I lost has been hard work, but sometimes you have to let go of what's been lost to make room for something new.

I may not be able to paint this for her anytime soon, but I'd love to paint something like this for someone else. Maybe a kid who loves the outdoors, or a little one on the way. ❤️

I'm in Mesa, AZ, and I'd love for this post to find the right person.

My daughter is nearly a year and a half old now, and I'm still hopeful that one day I'll have a wall to paint for her again. ❤️

This painting is a little small, probably should have left it to grow longer. My art plant of the gouache variety takes too long to grow my pieces.

Kind of a half assed drawing, but I'm not feeling my best today. I didn't grow up playing Pokemon but I'm playing leaf green on my switch right now. I'm not far. I'm at the second gym and it's kicking my butt. It's hitting me with a much needed lesson right now that, really, you are GOING to fail. But that's ok. You get back out there, collect experience, and get stronger so you can try again. So in a weird way, this game has inspired me to really get out and find myself in life's experiences. Thanks Pokemon 👍 by @art_fizz
