Here my boy Austin is using a small wood bat that literally weighs like 15 oz. If the ball isn’t struck well it’s a ground ball… really forces the hitters to use their wrist, accelerate the barrel through the ball with your hands to get the ball to jump! It’s called hand - eye coordination guys, use your hands to hit the ball…. Join my channel if you’re looking for more inside info where we can go back and forth and talk about what I’m teaching 🙏🏽 let’s get better today!

Super proud of the adjustments my boy Dariel has made the last couple of weeks. Hitters please don’t confuse wrapping the bat with getting the bat up and back! Small tweaks go a long way! Can you tell we just started school again 🤣🤣🤣

Starting next week! Weight training, mobility, conditioning, and hundreds of swings! It’s going to be too hot for some of you, it’s going to be too hard for others and that’s okay not everyone is meant to be great! What’s your excuse for unlocking your full potential! Colt, like most hitters, cups his wrist and overuses his shoulders in the swing—and it kills consistency.

Here’s what you guys don’t get: even the way you grip the bat is affecting everything you do. Barrel path, bat speed, contact… all of it. Every detail matters.

But most of you won’t fix it—not because you can’t, but because you don’t train enough. You don’t get your reps in. You’re not in the cage every day cleaning it up.

The players who actually improve are obsessed with the details.

If that’s not you… good luck.

Here’s a clip from an online session I did with my guy Adrian out in California.
Simple drill you can do right at home — because every rep should have a purpose. Find drills that actually translate and keep your swing consistent.
If you’re not sure what to work on, DM me and I’ll guide you on the right path. Let’s build a swing that shows up when it matters….. notice my bat drops behind when I’m swinging, that happens naturally don’t force that 🙏🏽

One hand swings is probably one of the best drills to do! Even if not done to standard it improves players body control and makes it feel much easier when you have two hands on the bat! Great job kid!!! @walter_izquierdo_jr taken in Doral, Florida by @art_of_hitting

To me little feel drills are so important, most of these kids are one good move away from being elite, but we need to understand hitting is a fine movement, and it’s small fine moves that are probably putting you in a bad spot to hit! My dude Joshua is gonna be a monster!

It’s the little things… something so simple yet done wrong so often can change the way you hit the baseball… but are you paying attention to details?

Building strength in the legs and staying ready to swing 💪 My guy Kevin’s a beast—always leveling up. Grind smart, not just hard. If you’re working on the wrong things, it doesn’t matter how hard you go.

Where you put the ball while hitting tee matters teach yourself to let that outside pitch travel slightly more….. slightly!!! Shout out to my boy Aidan making good adjustments and having a weekend at the dish! @aiden_n_alex_
