@flite_life x @86sherm Collaboration 🎨👨🏾‍🎨👨🏽‍🎨🖼️

FLITE 86
Mixed Media on wood canvas
18x24
DM for inquiries

FLITE 86 tells the story of an astronaut who lands on planet Earth only to discover a world consumed by chaos. Faced with living costs, crime, poverty, political division, and the pressures of everyday survival. He struggles to understand the society around him.

Through bold imagery, vibrant colors, and layered newspaper clippings, the piece explores the overwhelming realities of modern life from an outsiders perspective. What begins as a journey of exploration quickly becomes a fight to navigate a world filled with uncertainty.

This piece is being exhibited at @artapiary currently ! Check it out. by @artapiary

@artapiary grand opening last night was so much fun!

The community weaving installation was such a special experience.

Every single space is so different as well as the participating artists but some things do remain the same.

The infectious creativity that goes into the building of this project…..

It is so deeply appreciated.

You all inspire me by being yourselves, watching you work is a blessing and an honor.

Thank you for sharing a little bit of yourselves with me, thank you for choosing to nurture your inner children, to get out of your comfort zone and try something new, and put your energy into the piece.

You are all so beautiful ♥️

Being a viewer through this project has been such a memorable experience for me. Getting to see the excitement and curiosity in all of you never gets old.

Oh and what kind of luck is it when your frame falls and breaks twice but the glass remained intact.

Didn’t get a before pic, you win some you lose some but hey the message isn’t lost- if anything it’s raw appearance adds a little something to the whole picture.

Thank you to everyone at @artapiary for curating this event and supporting local artists like myself. And congratulations on the opening 🫂 🥂

Allow us to introduce ourselves.

Art Apiary, run by John, Anthony, and Isaih.

Three partners with different roles, different perspectives, and definitely different opinions on how things should get done.

What started as a one off art exhibition amongst friends has turned into something we’ve spent years building, changing, and figuring out together.

There’s a lot that happens behind the scenes to make Art Apiary what it is. These are the three people usually somewhere in the middle of it all.

Individually, we could keep it moving. Together, we can do this all day.

JOIN US FOR OUR GRAND OPENING!! LINK IN BIO!
