Eight finalists. Eight acquisitions. One extraordinary outcome. To mark the success of the inaugural Artbank Prize exhibition, Artbank is proud to announce the acquisition of all eight finalist artworks into the Artbank collection. The Artbank Prize was created to open a new pathway into the collection for artists not yet represented by Artbank. The exceptional quality of this year's finalists, selected from more than 740 applications from across Australia, inspired us to go even further. These acquisitions celebrate the strength, diversity and creativity of contemporary Australian art while providing lasting support for the artists behind the works. We are thrilled to welcome all eight finalists into the Artbank collection. A huge congratulations to all finalists. Your works will now become part of a nationally significant collection and be shared with audiences across Australia through Artbank's leasing program. 📍 Visit the Artbank Prize exhibition and discover the artists shaping the future of Australian contemporary art.
