Look closer: this tulip isn’t painted, it’s knitted🌷 Meet ARTBOXY artist Gabriele Kluge and her work “Appeldoorns Elite,” hand-knitted in fine cotton using KlugeStrickArt, her own method. She blends four coloured threads at once, so up close you spot each one, but step back and your eye mixes them into new tones, much like pointillism in paint. On view now at the Nicoleta Gallery, Berlin, all month until 30 November. Price: 2250 EUR Explore more on artboxy.com #artboxy #createcollectconnect #gabrielekluge #nicoletagallery #textileart by @artboxyofficial
We keep sharing the stories of our Artboxy artists, and today meet WuiRa Art @wuira.art, a self-taught painter living at the foot of Montserrat ⛰️ “Living at the foot of Montserrat is a privilege that’s difficult to put into words. I see the same mountain every day, but it never looks exactly the same. The light, colours and shadows are constantly changing. I love working with textures, cracks, relief and surfaces that seem to hold a story. I don’t try to paint Montserrat as it looks. I’m much more interested in how it makes me feel. Artboxy has given me the opportunity to show my work internationally, beyond my usual surroundings. It’s exciting to imagine someone in another city or country discovering one of my paintings.” More of WuiRa Art’s work on artboxy.com #artboxy #createcollectconnect #wuiraart #montserrat #contemporaryart by @artboxyofficial

“Las Dos” means “The Two.” One woman faces us, lit by a strip of red neon, her eyes sliding away from the viewer. Behind her, a second figure turns her back, painted in looser, softer strokes, almost dissolving into the dark. Are they two people, or the same person and the self she left behind? Artboxy Artist Giop leaves it open: “You choose a path and swallow the emptiness of the other.” On view at Nicoleta Gallery, Berlin, until 30 November🔴 artboxy.com #artboxy #createcollectconnect #berlinart #figurativepainting #oilpainting by @artboxyofficial

Her soul speaks through her art💚 Meet Artboxy artist Mona Larson from the island of Øygarden, Norway. She paints with a playlist on, follows her intuition, often spots something in the work and then highlights it. Mona believes every piece she makes has an owner out there who will recognise its message. People often tell her that her paintings feel calming, and that means the world to her. Thank you, Mona, for sharing your story with us! Create your own story on artboxy.com✨ #artboxy #createcollectconnect #monalarson #norwegianart #naturepainting by @artboxyofficial
