In collaboration with @shopcordovamall, we created an immersive Emerald Coast mural—for us, by us.

Six sections, each one a piece of who we are: the sun and salt, the ocean and its life, respect for our military, our local ecology, and the spirit of our community.

This mural tells the story of the 850, a place we’re proud to call home.

The 850 has our hearts. This one is for us.

What’s the part of creating a mural? Getting lost in the color. For me, it’s every shade of blue. Spray paint, and brush—each tool brings its own rhythm and satisfaction, blending movement across 1000 feet of life. This mural is about the values of the running community for @werunwild1 to encourage, equip, inspire, and connect with those around us through the gift of running and wellness.

Tears, fear, and letting go! In the end is the sun. From celebrating a wedding in Florence, to standing in the Vatican, to returning home to a hurricane’s aftermath. The wildest two weeks of my life. Love, beauty, chaos, uncertainty, and above all, gratitude.

Only fitting it began and ended with Marcus Aurelius:

“The universe is change; our life is what our thoughts make it.”

Last year, I trained at 15 different @anytimefitness locations across the country. These days, I don’t train for aesthetics or athletic performance. I train to keep my shoulders strong, my back healthy, and my body capable of doing what I love. The goal is simple: to keep painting well into my 80s. That’s probably why this mural collaboration with @anytimefitnesspace meant so much to me.

Huge thank you to @anytimefitnesspace for trusting me with this one! 💪🎨

When I travel for murals, I’ve probably trained at 20+ Anytime Fitness locations across the country. Fitness has always centered me.

After being a college athlete, I felt a little lost when strength and speed were no longer the goal. Now, training is simpler. It’s showing up for myself, clearing the stress, getting some good dopamine, and staying in motion.

Just like the figure in this mural—we have to keep moving.

Good things happen when we stay consistent.

Cheers to all the people I see at the gym every day whose names I don’t even know. We share something: we keep showing up, trying to make our lives a little better than yesterday.

And yes…I wish I was as jacked as the dude I painted.
