Groodles: adorable coats that need regular care 🐾✨ Groodles (Golden Retriever × Poodle crosses) are loved for their beautiful soft coats, intelligence and affectionate personalities. But behind those gorgeous curls and teddy bear looks is a coat that needs regular maintenance to stay healthy and comfortable. A Groodle’s grooming needs include: 🐾 Regular brushing at home Groodle coats can vary from wavy to curly, and many are prone to tangling and matting. Regular brushing helps prevent painful knots, especially around the ears, legs, chest, armpits and collar areas. 🐾 Professional grooming schedule Most Groodles benefit from regular grooming appointments to keep the coat manageable, comfortable and suited to their lifestyle. Waiting until the coat is heavily matted can make grooming stressful and uncomfortable for your dog. 🐾 Bathing and conditioning A quality bath and conditioning routine helps maintain coat health, softness and manageability. The right products are chosen based on your dog’s individual skin and coat needs. 🐾 Drying and coat separation A thorough, gentle dry helps separate curls, remove loose coat and allows the groomer to identify any areas needing extra attention. 🐾 Face, feet and hygiene care Keeping hair around the eyes, paws and hygiene areas maintained helps your Groodle stay comfortable while still preserving their unique look. At Circle of Fluff, we understand that every Groodle coat is different. Some have a loose wave, some have tight curls, and some inherit a thicker Golden Retriever-style coat. Grooming should always be tailored to the individual dog—not a one-size-fits-all approach. Our goal is to help your Groodle feel comfortable, confident and cared for while maintaining that beautiful teddy bear appearance. 🐶💕 #CircleOfFluff #GroodleGrooming #FearFreeGrooming #DoodleCoatCare #StKildaDogs @aleshas_grooming @artbyantwb by @artbyantwb
