sneak peek on a new project! 🫣🙈 and some important updates below regarding upcoming events! ⤵️

⏰ ONE WEEK until the opening night for the Ellenbrook Art Awards where i have entered my Kookaburra drawing “Voice of the Valley”, if you wish to attend the opening evening (free entry) please don’t forget to RSVP! if you’re having trouble finding the link DM me 📩

‼️NEW EVENT! 2026 State Thoroughbred and Standardbred Championships! i’m very grateful for the opportunity to be one of the many class sponsors for this event, in addition to attending with a trade stall on BOTH days (21st and 22nd of November)! i’m super excited to be part of supporting my local equine community from outside the ring this time 🙌🏼 can’t wait to see everyone there!

✍🏼💗

i haven’t made a reel for a while but i came across this audio and it really inspired me to reflect on where i started and look forward to where my art can take me. some days i lack the motivation to draw but pushing past that is the first step towards becoming a better artist. good things take time and practice 😌 by @artbycassady

hi again! two posts in two days might be a new record for me 😮‍💨 i’m posting again as i realised i never uploaded the finished kookaburra drawing! 🩵🪶

this was a slightly more technical and time consuming piece as i experimented with some different subject matter than i’m used to but i really enjoyed the whole process. im very pleased with how it turned out and im looking forward to having it on display at the end of october! 🙌🏼

hi everyone! just a quick update post ✍🏼 i’m currently working through some commissions at the minute alongside preparations for my xmas market stall at the end of november 🎄

i have temporarily closed commissions for the rest of this year as i will be very short on extra time over the next couple of months and i don’t wish to organise bookings then disappoint anyone wanting drawings done before christmas! (don’t stress if you’ve already booked a drawing, these will still be completed on schedule!) drawings can still be booked in for 2027 just send me a message 📩

in a few weeks i will be dropping off my Kookaburra drawing at the Ellenbrook Art Awards to be judged and then exhibited from the 23rd October until 23rd of November 2026 (i will double check these dates closer to the event and update you all again.), any support either in person or online is greatly appreciated! 😌

i’ll update you all again soon but that’s all for now, hope you all enjoy this progress photo of my Porsche drawing 🏎️ by @artbycassady

hi everyone! i’ve been a bit quiet on here as a few of the pieces i’m working on at the minute are commission drawings ✍🏼 some of these are going to be gifts so i won’t be posting them until after they are handed over so i don’t spoil the surprises! i hope you like this drawing i handed over today of a splendid blue fairy-wren 💙🩵🪶 by @artbycassady

🪶🍃 in the final stages now of this piece with only a few things left to do. the leaves are to be more detailed and the other half of the branch is to be done too, trying to make everything balance and slowly come together! by @artbycassady

another progress update 🐾 added some more details to the face and to the background too. the background is kinda messing with my eyes because of the blurred effect, i wish i had done that part last 😵‍💫🙈 by @artbycassady
