Just a little introduction post for anyone who doesn’t know me.

Hello, I’m Charlie, also known as Cryptish online. I’m in my 30’s and I’m a Welshman living in England with my husband, our housemate and a whole bunch of animals.

I’ve been drawing on and off for over a decade, I used to sell at conventions but had a long hiatus when I got a full time job and art block at the same time. With that and struggling with my own ADHD hell, my art kind of got put to the side for a while. In recent months, I’ve began to pick it up again and really want to get back into selling my own artwork and feeling proud of my own creations.

At the moment, what I like to draw is fanart, OCs of any kind, but my specific favourites are TTRPG like D&D. I also like to draw cryptids, mythology and folklore stuff. I also doodle animals, mostly cats. I work digitally on procreate and occasionally work on traditional art as well. There is no use of AI in my work, I don’t see any point in it, I can make much better cursed images than any machine can honestly. by @artbycryptish

Had a good time in Hinckley Bolt Events, met a lot of lovely people and fellow artists. Had a down side of people stealing two keychain (checked my stock today and found another one missing) when I sell a sticker alternative for much cheaper. But overall, a much calmer con ❤️

Sorry for my absence online. I’ve had a lot of personal things hit me all at once, some good, some bad.
The most pressing thing for me is that I am getting married in 30 days and we haven’t even got trousers yet.
