Oil!!
Bought some oil paints this spring and finally got around to finishing this.
The reference photo is just from Pinterest. The goal of this was to learn how to paint light so I wanted to find something with that backlit glow.
Excited to keep learning :) by @artbydancer

Was inspired by my top Spotify artist,, the band of gorgeous Italian rockstars that is Maneskin. I had concert tickets this fall but had to give them away due to a mandatory lab 😭😭. Not sure if I’ll ever recover tbh. by @artbydancer

Rihanna’s 2021 met gala look, 12x16, Oil. This one took 6 weeks of learning how to use the medium of oil paint, which I’ve kind of fallen in love with. by @artbydancer

The long awaited mural!
Back in May, my art teacher recommended me to someone who was looking for a student artist to paint them a mural. It has been a great process and I’m so happy with the result.
