No win for me this year, but a huge congratulations to all the winners and nominees.

I’m incredibly grateful to have been nominated. This project meant so much to me, as it gave me the opportunity to express something that deeply resonates with my heart in a world that can often feel unbalanced and lacking in clarity.

I feel truly blessed to be surrounded by such amazing support and to be part of an incredibly inspiring industry, where creativity reaches far beyond what the eye can see.

Thank you to everyone who has supported me and believed in my vision. Esp my fam @grohar.se

And a heartfelt thank you to @aretsfrisorsverige for an unforgettable gala and for creating a platform that celebrates creativity, passion, and artistry in our industry.

In this work, I explore the idea of our shared point of origin: that we are all born from the same foundation, with the same inherent human value.

The contrast between the white and the dark hair serves as a symbolic narrative about structures rather than individuals.

The white hair represents privilege—the invisible head start often perceived as neutral or “perfect,” but which is deeply embedded with power, access, and social norms.

The dark hair symbolizes the experience of having to carry more, adapt more, and exist outside what is considered the norm.

By allowing these colors to coexist within the same form and body, I wanted to show that these opposites are not separate worlds, but intertwined within the same human reality.

This work is not a statement against the individual, but a reflection on systems, inheritance, and the invisible forces that shape our lives. by @artbyfridv
