A few of my favorite photographs currently available as prints!

Since launching the print collection, I’ve added more work to the catalogue and wanted to put together a dedicated carousel showing what’s currently available. For now, I’m keeping the process simple and handling orders through Instagram. I used to have an online shop, but managing it took more time than I wanted away from actually making the work.

If there’s an image here you like, send me a DM and we can work out the size, pricing, and shipping. If there’s another photograph you’ve seen on my feed that you’d like as a print, feel free to ask. I’d be happy to look into it.

I’ll keep adding to the catalogue as the collection grows.

Thanks, as always, for supporting this little creative experiment. It means a lot. 🥹☕️

In case you’ve missed my previous posts, I’ve spent the past year figuring out how to turn my photographs into physical prints, and it’s involved a lot of experimenting.

The first step was investing in a Canon imagePROGRAF PRO-310, one of my best creative investments. It’s given me the freedom to produce high-quality prints of my photographs and artwork at home.

After testing different papers, I settled on a 230 GSM matte stock for its balance of weight and flexibility, softer finish, and minimal glare.

I also spent a lot of time figuring out the packaging, from post-consumer recycled shipping boxes and protective materials to stationery and all the other little details. The next challenge: finishing a logo and stamp design. 😅

I’ll be sharing the catalogue of available images on my art account soon. If you’re interested in a print, feel free to send me a DM and we can start ironing out the details. I currently offer 4x6, 5x7, and 8x10 prints, with larger sizes available by request.

The eventual goal is to launch a print club, but I need another year or so to build a larger portfolio and work out the logistics.

And finally, a huge THANK YOU to everyone who has already purchased a print and supported this little creative experiment. 🙏🏾🙏🏾🙏🏾 It genuinely means a lot.

More to come. ☕️

A few of my favorite photographs from my trip to New York.

Incredibly grateful for the opportunity to spend a few days there. The energy around the city that week made it such a fun environment to photograph, experiment, and get more comfortable shooting both on the fly and with a little more intention.

More than anything, I’m thankful for all the great people I got to meet and photograph along the way. Getting to share ideas, photograph each other, and just have fun with it was one of my favorite parts of the trip.

I’m hoping to keep going down this road and share more of the photography I’m making, including some physical prints when the images feel worthy of it.

Still learning, still experimenting, and very much enjoying the process.

Thank you guys for supporting these creative pursuits. More to come. ☕️

If you’ve been following me for the last couple years, you’ve probably seen how much I’ve fallen in love with photography and the process.

I eventually found that there were certain images I kept coming back to. Not necessarily because they were the “best” photographs I’ve ever made, but because of what they remind me of… Where I was, what I was doing, and how I felt when I made them. I find that to be such a treasure.

One of the hardest things for me has actually been calling myself a photographer…. I’ve never quite felt comfortable with the label, but I feel like part of making these prints was me simply taking a small step toward believing that I could be one. I suppose I feel comfortable with saying I’m in the process of “becoming” if that makes sense

After a lot of experimenting and obsessing over paper, color, printing, and all of the little details that go into making something physical, I finally have my first collection of prints!! 30 photographs that I’m genuinely proud of. 🥹

This feels like the beginning of something I’ve wanted to do for a long time.

I’ll be sharing more about the printer, paper, packaging, the process behind making these, and which photographs will be available through Art by Haran. And if there’s a particular image in this reel that you’d like to see as a print, send me a DM.

I’d love to hear which ones speak to you. by @artbyharan

I don’t have much experience painting portraits, but I wanted to give one a try. Kept it simple.

This is Shiro.

It’s been a little over a year since we lost him, and painting him ended up being more cathartic than I expected. I didn’t realize how much I needed it.

One thing that surprised me was how little black paint I actually used. Most of him came together through warm browns, reds, and yellows, which somehow made him feel even more alive on the canvas.

Thought I’d share a few photos of the finished painting alongside some of the images that inspired it.

Hope you’re having a peaceful Sunday. ❤️ by @artbyharan

Portrait in progress of @perezgarments.

My first pet portrait and a great exercise in both fur and fabric. I’d love to take on more commissions someday, but for now I’m focused on learning, improving, and getting to a level I’m happy with.

Appreciate you following along 🥹

Untitled, but probably my favorite floral portrait I’ve done thus far.

I’ve always loved what the sunflower symbolizes, warmth, resilience, and joy across many cultures, and I’ve been wanting to tackle a bouquet in varying light. This one started as a simple study, but became something I kept returning to over time.

It went through a number of iterations. I didn’t want to rush it, so I let it sit, revisit it, and slowly apply things I was learning along the way. One of those pieces that became as much about growth as it was about the finished work.

Acrylic on gesso board.

I also happened to find the frame toward the end at @queenofheartsantiques , which felt like it was meant for it.

First three slides are the final piece, the rest are earlier stages and block ins.

Curious what you think. And as always, appreciate your support 🥹🙏🏾

I’ve been sharing mostly older work on this account, but here are three portraits from the past 8 months. Workshops, particularly my time at @grandcentralatelier , really pushed my work to another level.

@calgeary and @jdogclose, early 2025.
I was still hesitant to really push the darks, leaning instead toward a rougher, graphic-novel style. There’s a lot more work I want to archive and share.
