My favorite drawing 🥹 completed December 15, 2021. This is a graphite drawing (with touches of white acrylic paint) of my grandma. She passed away in April of 2021 after living and loving for 93 years. I drew this the year she passed as a gift to my mom, who was best friends with my grandma. I had a very close relationship with her, and she’s the person I get my artistic talent from. Growing up I always thought her paintings were so beautiful. She really inspired me and I remember going to her house when I was little, pulling out my box of art supplies that she had for me, and trying to create something of my own. It feels fulfilling now to have made a work of art from her image. I love and miss her a lot. I added the palm trees in the reflection in her sunglasses in this photo because those were her favorite and she’d always make me send her pictures of palm trees whenever I went somewhere tropical 🌴🤍 May she continue to Rest In Peace and sit under the palm trees forever :) by @artbyheather_

Just painted this butterfly wing mural at Troy Gymnastics for kiddos to stand in the middle and take pictures with 🦋 Such a fun little project! Eventually a decal of their logo will be added above 🤸🏼‍♂️ Painting murals at TG is always fun as I usually have an audience of various children who somehow find my painting more fascinating than the massive gym full of fun for them lol. I hope they enjoy this finished product 😊 by @artbyheather_

Sat down for about an hour at Moraine Lake in Banff, Canada to do this little watercolor painting this past September. One of the most beautiful places. Shoutout the random girl that offered to take a photo of me painting in action. Also included a couple bloopers lol. Painting outside is fun but can be tricky. by @artbyheather_
